Thomas Hayden Church has apparently signed on to play a bad guy in Spiderman 3. He would have made a pretty awesome Venom, but he's a bit old for that one methinks.

Your in luck. Comes out Tuesday on DVD.I'll be picking it up for sure.

The two rumored villians are Venom and Man-Wolf.

I hope we get Man-Wolf. That would be amazing. But I think Raimi really likes Venom all that much and considering they haven't done any of the plot lines relating to Venom yet, I don't know how it would even play out.

We'll see.

But yeah, Church is awesome. Loved him on Wings. Glad to see him back and in popular demand.

As much as I would love the villian in Spiderman 3 to be Venom, or Carnage for that matter, and for Spidey to get the awesome black suit, I doubt it. They set up that whole Green Goblin thing at the end of Spidey 2, where Harry finds the Green Goblin's suit. In comic he becomes the GG for a while before someone else finds the suit and converts it into the Hobgoblin. So maybe in Spiderman 4.

I've loved Church since he was on Wings and I might be one of the few people who enjoyed George Of The Jungle. It's good to see his star rising. I also need to check out Sideways, I'm suprised it's coming to DVD so quick. Probably because they want to cash in on the buzz from the Oscars before it dies.

It would be awesome if either Venom or Carnage were in the third movie, definately two of my favorite Spiderman villains.

probably so. it came here in KC pretty late. its still here cinemas as well as Finding Neverland.

Weak as fuck. I don't give a shit about sandman. I'm much more concerned with Venom or Carnage. I really want to see that storyline introduced.

Sandman is cool tho. He's like ClayFace in Batman.

And they would totally have to introduce so much stuff for Venom that it would be really hard.

I can see them not wanting to do that and Raimi said he doesnt want that villian in the films.

I'd still like to see Man-Wolf introduced as well as Sandman.
