i feel sorry for them. charles, and the sons. People dont even pay attention to the monarchy and then when something "big" happens, they give em so much shit.

theyve been doing nothing for so so so long now though....i just dont see why you can still be mad. They have no real part in bigtime decisions although they could, but they just dont. So leave em be..>

Yes this is true, I might take them seriously if they still had the power to chop my head off! But as it is they dont do anything, so I just ignore them, because I don't care...

I think the monarchy still have an important part to play in British society. They're part of our culture and history. They definently have their flaws but I think on a number of scores they are good value. Prince Philip is one of the countries finest comedians! Harry can bugger off though. And Charles is right to be open about his annoyance over press intrusion. Its not on, they should be able to go skiing without any hassle.
