So tomorrow most of us will vote, a lot of us have voted already. I have tried two times to vote. The first time I could not find my early polling place, I drove around for an hour looking for it. The second time, I tried to apply for an absentee, or vote by mail ballot, and I never received my ballot. So tomorrow I have to take time off to brave the lines to cast my vote.

Election Day is weird, it really should be a national holiday where most businesses are closed, like Christmas or Thanksgiving. It is going to be really hard for me to vote tomorrow, I have to wake up at 7 and go to my polling place, which is still by my parent's house which is 45 minutes away from me, and over an hour away from work. I will most likely be at least 3 hours late to work and will have to stay 3 hours late to catch up on work. All the while I have this lingering feeling that my vote really doesn't count, because I live in Georgia, which will certainly go McCain.

This is the third presidential election I have voted in and it is the first time it has been more of a pain in the ass than anything else. So I hope that when Obama wins, he will push for Election Day to be a national holiday. That way people who have demanding jobs, like myself, won't have to jump through hoops just to cast a vote, it should be easier than this.

Voting should be a pleasure, not a chore.

Georgia may go blue. Do the best you can to vote.

Georgia is a lot of things my friend, a blue state it is not.

So I thought I was registered to vote. I went to my state's website to check several time throughout the past two months and it said that I was registered. I kept going to the site to check where I'm supposed to go vote and it would always told me I'm registered.

Well today I go to quadrupedal check where I'm supposed to go and how early I'm supposed to show up, and all the sudden, I'm not registered to vote anymore. Called up the county... not registered. I am royally pissed off. Fuck Indiana

That's horrible. Complete failure for Indiana.
