No Way Jose is a Southern California punk band that has been building a buzz in the Los Angeles scene. NWJ mixes their latin rock, southern california punk, and Mexican-American roots to create their own sound. They have been featured on Los Angeles Independent Radio station 103.1FM, KJLA - LATV (Southern California's underground music channel), KXLU 88.9 FM, USC's KSCR Radio 1560AM, Orange County's radio station 94.3 FM, La Verne's radio station KULV 107.9, internet radio www.klbc.org, www.titaninternetradio.com, Skratch Magazine's Compilation Volume 14 and 15 (February and March 2003 Issue)

Founding member Jose started No Way Jose, in December of 2001. NWJ has played in several Southern California clubs toured in the UK, Wales and Scotland. After going through a couple of line up changes, No Way Jose is now what is today. Guitarist/Vocalist/songwriter Jose Cruise was given his last name after Tom Cruise while joking around with friends. Omar a Chicano Latin Studies graduate of Cal State Long Beach, plays an upside down lefty bass. WOW!!! Last but not least, we have drummer Sam Pow, the fiercest drummer in Los Angeles, who is a big fan of the Dead Kennedy's.

No Way Jose continues to play the underground scene to fans in Southern California. They are recording their upcoming EP in their own house and will be coming out with a new EP in 2005.

These are what the critics have to say:

"These guys show no signs of weakness anywhere....." - Skratch

"Heavy power pop punk...." - Vox Magazine
