Part 2 of The Experiment is now online. See who responded, what they said, and just how many responses our indie rock loving "Emma" got. Prepare to be creeped out...

how is it old? It was posted April 13, 2005, 2:57 pm. That was just a few hours ago...Unless you think the concept is old.

Anyways, I wonder where the experimenter got that picture of "emma"..like did he take some random girl's picture from the internet? If so, creepy...

Well, these were actually posted about 6 months ago on the old Upbeetmusic before the relaunch. They've been prettied up for the new site.

Classy.

The site you posted them at, do they put up the profiles in a "just joined" on a main page?
If so, it kind of messes everything up a bit.

Generally more people visit/view/etc a profile when it's featured, even for a few hours.

Kind of like the "cool new people on myspace" thing.

anyway, it's interesting.

No fellow Louisvillian, they don't feature new profiles. However, if you search through profiles then it will give you the newly added ones first.

Generally with any kind of site that features where new people signed up, those individuals are easy targets for others.

At votemeoff.com, new people are bombarded almost instantly the moment they join, or people notice their new profile.
