Augustana and OneRepublic make great music. Even if they aren't your cup of tea I think this show is worth it. I KNOW Augustana is solid live because I have seen them before...I am just hoping OneRepublic is just as good.

Has anyone gone to this tour yet and do you know what the Spill Canvas played?

thanks so much!

wow what a terrible Hush Sound setlist!!! "We Believe in Barack Obama"!?! They should replace that garbage song with a good one like As you Cry or Don't Wake Me Up....

Does Spill Canvas play Polygraph Right Now?

I would go for only The Hush Sound, but 6 songs is not worth it. Especially at a seating venue, and it costs $40-$50

this tour is coming to my school in december. last year we had jack's mannequin, so this is kind of a disappointment imo. tickets are $5 for students though, so i'll go to check out the hush sound.

just go to the show..it will be worth it....like i have said...the spill canvas and augustana are amazing live bands and OneRepublc probably puts on a solid show as well.

This is my best guess at the Spill Canvas set list ....if I know them as well as I think I do this will be pretty close to accurate:

Polygraph
Battles
Saved
Connect the Dots (one of the myspace people mentioned this song)
One of the new vinyl songs (maybe)
Staplegunned
All Over You

I'm assuming they dont play all hail cuz they usually don't on shorter sets:(

but like i said...the show will be worth it im sure...especially if you are a fan of music like that:)

Ok i just have to say this is like the weirdest line up for a show. The Spill Canvas is amazing live and i'd love to go see them again but i'm not really into the other bands so it'd be a waste of money for me.

I mean it isnt a perfect combo of bands, but I don't think it is THAT strange of a lineup.

Augustana and OneRepublic both have excellent albums out (an opinion of course, but I think if you listened you would enjoy them as well, considering TSC is one of my favorite bands!!!)

I guess tickets are a little spendy if you are only going to see TSC play 7 songs...that would be like $5 per song haha.....I guess I am just trying to get people to go to this tour haha

On Ticketmaster it was listed only under OneRepublic... and I don't really care for them.
But the other three bands are some of my favourite bands. :(

Tonight was less than perfect for me, but it was still good because I got to see one of my top three favorite bands again(the spill canvas), and OneRepublic for the first time. However, Augustana did not show up and no one said anything about why they weren't there...so I felt a little cheated by that. ...but after reading their myspace it sounds like someone in the band got injured so i guess thats understandable.

Anyways here's the sets:

The Spill Canvas (100% correct and in order):

Hush Hush
Staplegunned
Saved
Polygraph
Dutch Courage (re-done, a bit slower)
Connect the Dots
All Over You

...and that was it a 30 minute set as direct support....I was NOT happy....especially since I've seen them play those same songs so many times over and over again....whatever though I was happy for them to be apart of such a big tour and of course they sounded great.

So..after a 45 minute intermission (most likly due to augustana not being there) OneRepublic came on at 9pm and played until 10:15

This was the set (100% correct, but not perfect order)

Mercy
Goodbye Apathy
Stop & Stare
Tyrant
New Song (I think he said called One Wish)
Someone to Save You
Crazy (Gnarls Barkley Cover)
Say (All I Need)
Apologize
All Fall Down

Encore:

For What It's Worth (Bruce Springsteen Cover)....Blake Lewis joined them on stage for this song.
All We Are

I was really bummed out that they didn't play Come Home, but I thought they put on a great show and they definitely have some talented musicians in the band. They said they hope to have their new album out by Summer 2009.

Why don't they? That'd be such a great opening song (though I love Hush, Hush). What size venue was this show at and was it sold out? They seemed to be kind of ambitious with their venue choices.

This was a seated show at Paramount Theatre in Seattle, which holds 2807. The seats were pretty empty for the opening bands, but by the time OneRepublic came on it was pretty full...I was in the 4th row so I wasnt able to see if the balcony was full too or not.

My favorite opening song that the Spill used to use was Lusta Prima Vista ....they had really good intros to most of the songs though!:)

They do some weird things with their sets these days, but it is hard cuz they are usually in an opening slot that only allows them time for 7 songs...and it is almost impossible to make all of their fans happy no matter what 7 songs they choose....especially when All Hail and The Tide rarely make the short sets.

They just need to headline again and play 5 songs from each album + To Live Without It haha

Augustana wasn't there? That sucks. They're the main reason I'm going to this tour. I hope whoever was injured is going to be okay, if that's what happened.

I'm going to this on the 29th in Jersey. I wasn't really planning on staying for OneRepublic, only because I really don't listen to them. I might stay for a little of them though - still not sure yet.

The Spill Canvas setlist isn't that bad, but yeah, I would have liked to hear All Hail the Heartbreaker. But like you said, it rarely makes the short sets. When I saw them with Yellowcard in March, they were playing The Tide only on some dates - and of course they didn't play it on mine. Oh well. I still love seeing them live.

Was The Hush Sound there? The only reason why I'm asking is because you mentioned Augustana wasn't there.

Intro
We Intertwined
Molasses
Wine Red
Medicine Man
Hurricane (the guitarist from OneRepublic came out and played the glockenspiel)
Honey

It upset me that over half the venue was empty when THS started--but they still put on a good show considering that the venue was seated.

It was Augustana's first show back and during their set asked the audience to get really quiet so they played one song totally unplugged. Only plain acoustic guitars and no mics! The whole band was singing along but it was still really hard to hear. They reminded me a lot of Good Old War.

The Spill Canvas and OneRepublic were really good. I think both their sets were pretty much as the same one already posted. Except I think OneRepublic also played Won't Stop.

I'm not familiar with their music so I can't make a list. But I know for sure they played Boston, Sweet And Low, and they ended with Baby, Please Don't Go.
Yeah the unplugged song was awesome. People were trying to clap or cheer and they were immediately silenced by angry SHHH's because people really wanted to hear.

It's called "Reasons." It was a itunes pre-order bonus track :)

Oh and just for those who attended this tour early on, yes Augustana's lead singer Dan Layus fractured his pelvis at a show on 10.29.08 and the guys had to cancel a few dates (something they've never done before), but since SF the guys have been playing each night and Dan is back to his old self...(haha see this latest atlanta video to get the picture...):

I went to this show last Saturday night (atlanta). Overall, it was a good show. OneRepublic and Augustana were my favorites. This was also my 2nd time seeing the Hush Sound, and they were also good. The Spill Canvas was really good, but I only knew 3 of their songs.

Hush Sound's setlist was the same as all the others, but they did "Hurricane" instead of "Barack Obama", and "Love you Much Better" instead of "Molasses." The Spill Canvas' setlist was the same as all the others. Augustana's was also the same, but with one exception- they played "Sweet and Low" acoustic instead of the regular version. I wanted to hear the regular version, but whatever, the acoustic version was still good. After Augustana, it took a whopping 40 minutes to set up for OneRepublic. That's ridiculous. Now if it was a big elaborate set and a ton of lights they had to set up, 40 minutes would be understandable. But they only had a few lamps, and a few red curtains. Also, the lighting of the entire show was less than average. Maybe I was expecting too much, having seen the crazily elaborate lights on the "Rock Band Live Tour" a few weeks ago, but for a $50 ticket, I was expecting more. One of the things I loved about this tour was how little advertising there was there. It was sponsored by 5Gum, but there was only ONE poster on the stage advertising it. So I was happy to see advertising that was next to nothing. One complaint I have is that OneRepublic played way too long. They played every song off of their album, plus "Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley, and a Bruce Springsteen Cover. Maybe it was because I had been standing for 4 and 1/2 hours already, and I wanted to go home, but their set was just so long. I did enjoy it, however.

So if you really like all these bands- go to this concert. But if you dont, this is one to miss, in my opinion. The bands put on a great show, but the entire concert is visually lacking, with the little scenery and poor lighting.

The bands put on a great show, but the entire concert is visually lacking, with the little scenery and poor lighting.

haha what? they played for 75 minutes...thats not even that long for a headlining band.

I went to this show last Saturday night (atlanta). Overall, it was a good show. OneRepublic and Augustana were my favorites. This was also my 2nd time seeing the Hush Sound, and they were also good. The Spill Canvas was really good, but I only knew 3 of their songs.

Hush Sound's setlist was the same as all the others, but they did "Hurricane" instead of "Barack Obama", and "Love you Much Better" instead of "Molasses." Actually they replaced Saved with Lust a Prima Vista that night.

Actually, they played longer than that. They played from 9:35-11:25. so that's 110 minutes (I think)

Not sure if it's been posted but here is Augustan's setlist from the NYC show:

Dust
Meet You There
Stars and Boulevards
Boston
Fire
Sweet and Low

They closed with two covers I was unfamiliar with but sounded great nonetheless.
