Midtown (http://www.midtownrock.com) have changed their Summer plans and will now be recording the follow-up release to the reinventive Forget What You Know, and because of this will now only be performing the final 5 dates on Warped tour. They are to be replaced by Armor For Sleep who will now be seen on the first half of the tour (in the west and midwest), and Scary Kids Scaring Kids who fill in the remaining gap. YES!!

I love midtown and all, think i've seen them live 4 times but i really wanted to see armor For Sleep and now they are playing the SD warped date, this is going to be superb!

That kind of screwed me, now Armor for Sleep aren't playing Warped on my dates. Damn :(
But Scary Kids Scaring Kids are now so that kind of makes up for it.

That is great, they aren't wasting any time. It seemed like it took them forever to release FWYK after Living Well.... I guess now that they are getting video play and shit they want to keep their name fresh in people's minds. Can't wait.

Just reading about a follow up to Forget What You Know gets me crazy excited. I guess it is too soon to even begin anticipating because FWYK is still relatively fresh, but new Midtown music is always a tantalizing thought.

BOOOOOOOOO, they should at least play the CA dates before they go back to recording. I'd love some new Midtown, but Armor for Sleep are no where near an equal trade-off for them!

I'm interested to see what the follow up will be like... I really liked Forget What You Know when it was first released but since then it's grown off of me a bit.

Wow. This is...exciting? I wasn't big on Midtown before FWYK, but then that album just OWNED me, I still love it. Come to think of it, were Midtown playing Chicago Warped anyways? I don't think so, so I guess this is pretty good for me!

im kind of sad because i was anticipating the headlining tour and warped tour. now we're goingt o have to wait even longer to see them again.

i'll be perfectly honest, i hope they go out and make Living Well is the Best Revenge Pt. 2....because that's one of my favorite CDs of all time.

Midtown used to be my favorite band. I've sort of grown out of them but I still love them for sentimental reasons. Their headlining show is coming to Philadelphia but it looks as if I'm going to miss it. I'm interested to see how the new album will sound, FWYK I liked but it did grow off me a little and at times it seemed as if they tried to be too overly dark. I still like it though. So yep, excited.

That's crazy cause FWYK is fairly new, and I still haven't seen them live. Then again, they recorded it a while ago on their own budget, so this album is probably encouraged by Columbia. Regardless, new Midtown is awesome!! I wonder what it's gonna sound like.

The fact that they were not signed to a label has something to do with that.

I'm looking forward to this, they ripped it when they were in Seattle this last week.

Forget What You Know was one of the best CDs of last year. If they manage releasing a AAA album this year, well, that would be the best thing ever.

midtown is playing Toronto in May anyways at El Mocombo for 15 bucks canadian...boo ya

Butch is pretty busy touring through September so hopefully he can squeeze a few sessions in between dates....this guy has the golden touch on everything he goes near(an yes im even including Bowling For Soup...so fuck off).

I still want a M3 reunion tour sometime soon. Butch is great solo but put him back together with Jayce and Slug and the world would be wise to drop to their knees and prepare to be dominated.

As for Midtown....I will be seeing them in about 5 hours....what is the band order been on the FBR & Friends been? Im hoping Gym Class Heroes go before The Academy Is and not the other way around.
