"Lady in the Water" is the title and scheduled for July 2006. Stars Paul Giamotta and Bryce Dallas Howard. Apparently Giamotta is a superintendent who finds a sea nymph (Howard) in his swimming pool.
Haha, I'm a big Shyamalan fan, but this sounds a little hokey. I'm sure he'll work his magic though. Thoughts?

Did you read that on Greg's Previews over at Yahoo! because that man knows his movies! GREAT place to find out about upcoming releases.
But yeah..., I'm excited. To stay on topic. :)

You got me. Yeah, Greg's Previews is a pretty good site to find info on upcoming movies. It's amazing how people can keep track of movies that are years away from release.

Yeah really. I think he's been updating the Die Hard 4 preview page, for like..., half a decade now.

Isnt that the same plot of "Earth Girls are Easy" with Jeff Goldblum and, fuck it, Jeff Goldblum is the only one that matters.

I like most of M Night Shyamalan movies. It's just like every other movie sucks though. I didn't like Sixth Sense because some ass spoiled the ending for me and ruined the whole fucking movie. I liked Unbreakable even though it wasn't what I was expecting, but it was still really good. Signs is probably my favorite movie from him. It's just so bad ass. The Village was just fucking garbage. When I saw it, you could see the fucking boom mic in like every fucking scene. I swear to God. I saw it so much I felt like we should have seen its name in the ending credits...it was that fucking bad. Anyway, here's to hoping this movie isn't ass like The Village.

well, if you can tell me what scene you see the actual boom in, ill let you have that one. somethign tells me a professional like Shyamalan would happen to study his film a little more than to let that slip up.
ive seen Village four times and not one time have i seen that.

you can't be serious, are you?
let me go ahead and be a complete prick and ruin this film for you.
why signs is horrible:
5) issues of fate, and religion and the reconciling of which with the christian bible and an alien race.
4) the alien suits
3) geology 101
2) mel gibson
1) this alien race that some how found a planet to take over (earth) and mobilize was so fucking stupid that they honestly thought they could invade a planet that is 79% water (which i believe was the most deadly of substances to said invaders), with an average amount of 4% in the atmosphere at any one time, due to levels of humidity in various areas, which happends to be quite a bit more than a half empty glass of water that may be strategically placed in one's house in case of an alien invasion by a group that utterly rediculous.
shyamalan is kitschy and that is all.
though i must say i am curious as to why paul giamatti signed onto his new film.

I'm pretty sure it was the way the film was cut at the ghetto movie theater I went to. I mean you can't expect to get a good copy of a movie everytime when they only charge $3 for admission. So I mean on one hand I blame the shitty movie theater but at the same time it really ruined the movie for me. Trust me, it was more than one scene...you could not have missed it. I'm sure they fixed it on the DVD and I know at the time I was asking friends and other people about it and they said they hadn't seen it(the mic) either.

yeah, thats a possibility.
when i saw SCHOOL OF ROCK at an advanced screening, i noticed the mic in several scenes. i couldnt figure out why.
i rank his movies as followed:
01. - unbreakable
02. - sixth sense
03. - village
04. - signs
05. - wide awake

The Village was terrible I was expecting a horror film and what I got was something I considered more of a love story. Very disappointing.

ive said this a thousand times. but the marketing was totally wrong for this film cause it wasnt horror or a thriller. it was a romance film.
i could go on fora while about all the things i enjoyed. and i know shyamalan really well. anyone who knows me knows my obsession for his films.
