Here's some recommendations you can ignore. Woo.
Marissa Nadler (http://www.marissanadler.com/) - Since no one seemed to notice last weeks, I'll mention it again: Ballads of Living and Dying is a great album. It couldn't have a better title too. If you want some haunting yet beautiful, soft music, here it is.
Explosions In The Sky (http://www.temporaryresidence.com/www/trl_html/bands/explosions.htm) - I'm hoping everyone knows EITS, but if not you need to check them out. They play some of the best instrumental music this side of Godspeed You! Black Emperor.
Tortoise (http://www.trts.com/) - Come on now, who doesn't love Tortoise?
Boards of Canada (http://www.boardsofcanada.com) - Everyone should own Music Has the Right to Children as it's one amazing electronic album.
Shugo Tokumaru - If you're up for some...interesting...music, this should satisfy you. It can be weird at times, but really beautiful too.
Paint It Black - I'm not sure I've even seen their new album Paradise mentioned here, which begs the question why? Good hardcore album.
