Who wins this bareknuckled brawl between the two most badass government agents ever?
Edit: I'm specifically referring to Daniel Craig's version of Bond because he is not only the best Bond, but also the most realistic. He doesn't need all those sissy gadgets and floating cars and all such nonsense.

Bourne. He has three awesome movie and is a complete badass. Bond has many many crappy movies and isn't a badass except for Daniel Craig. Bourne also ended the series on a high note whereas Bond will never end
2 1/2 awesome movies. I only give Supremacy half a point, because of the yet-to-be-refined shaky camera work.

I love that style. Did you know another sequel is in the works?
I love it too, in Ultimatum. It just looked a little subpar in Conspiracy. Not like it hurt the overall effect of the movie though.
And no, I did not know that. Details?

Jason Bourne would destroy Bond.

They should put together a movie with both of them. It's be just like Freddy vs. Jason, haha!

I personally thought that movie was really bad, but they should do it. Bourne and Bond are more interesting, anyway.

Yeah, I was being sarcastic. Freddy vs. Jason was terrible.

Ahaha, I figured. I haven't watched it in forever, though. Probably a good thing.

I don't think I can depend on it being one of those movies that age well.

Especially Jason's dream sequence with those two chicks out in the woods. Where he throws them in the sleeping bags and beats them against the tree. Movie magic at its finest right thurr.

I almost just laughed out loud in class thinking about that scene. Ahaha. Best director ever, whoever it was.

The Bourne movies are based of a book series that has six books total. Here some info from Wikipedia on the next sequel:
On June 25, 2008, producers Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley said in an interview to IESB.net there would be a fourth Bourne film. Marshall said "Hopefully they will be shooting next summer for a release in 2010 and our favorite anti-hero is apparently headed to South America."[32] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bourne_Ultimatum_%28film%29#cit e_note-31) On October 16th it was announced that George Nolfi would write the script, with Frank Marshall producing, and Jeffrey Weiner and Henry Morrison executive producing. Matt Damon, Julia Stiles and Paul Greengrass are also attached to the film.[33] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bourne_Ultimatum_%28film%29#cit e_note-32)[34] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bourne_Ultimatum_%28film%29#cit e_note-33)
Nice, I'm glad they still got Greengrass. Here's the thing. I remember someone telling me that Ludlum only wrote 3 Bourne books. Did somebody else continue the series?

Haha, yeah, that's a classic scene. It'll be recognized by the American Film Institute any day now.

You are right. Ludlum wrote the first three and the next three by Eric Van Lustbader. I heard that all the movies so far are loosely based on the books but just keep the same titles as them
Oh. So things won't be much different?

A. yes he is a good bond, but not the best. theres something very roger moore about him.
b. those "sissy gadgets" are a large part of the true bond essence, if you don't like them, go watch a crappy matt damon movie.

A. Craig is by far the best Bond. Connery is second, but people only rank him first because of sentimental value.
B. Dropping all the stupid fantasy shit was the best thing they ever did. It helped make the movies so much less formulaic.

The gadgets aren't so bad as long as they are used in moderation and in addition to a solid story.

Bourne totally wins in a "bareknuckled brawl", but I think Daniel Craig's Bond > Damon's Bourne
While I've been a Bond fan for years (my dad's made me watch ALL of the movies since I was a little kid) I've got to say I think Jason would win the fight.
Bond is a cool guy and all, but WAY too many of those bullets should have put him out of commission years ago. Jason is as real as we'll ever get. :]

Bond movies have more babes.
with many, many more movies comes many, many more opportunities for babes...
that said, i'm more of a Bond guy. you gotta love Connery, period.
Bond is cooler
the only thing Bourne has on Bond is the hand to hand combat
Bond has better cars and better gadgets..."Q" rocks...
enough said.
plus, i'm pretty confident that any of the Bond guys could outsmart Damon any day...especially in his Bourne character because he's pretty constantly confused anyway
