Kara's Fun Story For The Day

So it's around 8:30PM and I'm driving with my roommate to school to go work out a bit and play soccer in the gym. It's about a 15 minute drive from our apartment to school. Now, let me give you some previous information before I go any further. My passenger side headlight has been out for about a month. I have yet to replace it because I wasn't sure what kind of headlight to get (there were so many at Walmart, I got confused) and I have to take my entire front grill off to replace it and I haven't had the time to do it. Anyway, back to the story. I'm driving down a fairly busy street and my roommate informs me that there is a cop behind me. He follows me for a bit and she makes a comment about "I wonder if he's going to pull you over for your headlight that's out." We drive for about 1/4 of a mile with him following us when he finally puts his lights on and pulls me over. He asks me if I knew I had a headlight out and I tell him yes, but I haven't fixed it yet because I wasn't sure which one to get and it will take a bit of time to do. I end up not getting a ticket (THANK GOD), but it took him like 10 minutes to get back to my car after I gave him my license and registration. The funny thing was I looked in my rear view mirror and thought I saw more than one set of lights. There were two cop cars pulling me over for having a fuckin' headlight out. It was ridiculous. I hate Ft. Wayne cops.

1st encounter: I got pulled over for going 35 in a 25 while driving home from school.

2nd encounter: I got followed by a cop for about a mile and finally pulled over right in front of my friend's house (who had a bunch of poeple over who rushed outside to see what the hell happened). He said I took a wide turn onto a street and that's usually an indication of being intoxicated. I told him that I drive an '81 Datsun pickup and it doesn't have a very good turning radius. He then made some comment about how I was slightly speeding (bullshit).

3rd encounter: My friends and I were going around town (in high school) changing church signs to say funny stuff. We were on a fairly busy street changing a sign at like 2AM when I cop saw us. We attempted to hide behind the sign (people were tripping over bushes and stuff, it was hilarious), but he found us. He was apparently "bored."

4th encounter: I got pulled over for going 75 in a 60 on the freeway right after I dropped my best friend off at the airport. I was already in a bad mood having to see her go and this didn't help much. I got pulled over by a motorcycle cop. I got a ticket this time. It was only like $74 or something.

5th encounter: I got pulled over on the freeway in Michigan for going 85 in a 70. My best friend and I were driving back to school from her house and I just wanted to get home.

6th encounter: I got pulled over for speeding (I think I was going 45 in a 35). My best friend and I were just coming back from our 2 day drive from Indiana to Washington. It was 4AM and we were like 15 minutes away from my house.

i'm kind of proud of that one. and i weaseled my way out of it in court because my boyfriend told me to cry, so i did, and he let me off with only $15 in court fees and no points. woot.

Hasn't he had his fair share of run-ins with the cops, although most were accidents, like the one by my house? I'm not sure whether he has bad luck, sucks at driving, or both.

i was trespassing on this golf course and the fuzz came but i didn't get arrested, i just got a warning

Heh I got pulled over for having a broken light not too long ago.
So I was driving home from house sitting my girlfriend's house, and a cop pulls me over because of my light. Everything goes fine and he gives me a warning and starts to walk away, he looks in my car and sees all these bag of clothes because I was house sitting. He asks me what is with the bags. I tell him the truth, he says mind if I take a look? I say sure. He says one second, he walked back to his car, 10 minutes later another cop pulls up. They both walk up to my car and he says sir step outside for a second please, I did, he then patted me down. He then told me to stand with my hands on the hood of my car while they search my car, for their safety. I spent the next 15 minutes with my hands on my hood, they found nothing but clothes. The cop goes get that fixed and get home, and then drove off.

Now the reason why I didn't care why they did that:

Right before I left my girlfriend's house I say to her: "Hey it's like midnight and I have a broken headlight, and I have a shitload of empty bottles in my bag, mind if you take em because I got a feeling I'm gonna get pulled over." She took them, and saved my ass, because I'm only 17 so I would have been in quite a lot of trouble, so I was just laughing to myself while I stood there for 15 minutes while they tore my car apart.

Oh man was that a fun night.
