holy shit is all i have to say about this show. the club holds about 400 people i think, so people started showing up around 10 or 11 this morning... and it was raining all day. i got there at 4 and was told i wouldn't get in haha. the show was really laidback, and the band was taking requests for probably 90% of the songs. i would've liked xo or gin joints and a few new songs woulda been cool, too, but overall... best show i've ever been to. also, pete mentioned that they have a dvd coming out. oh, and they played about 40 seconds of carpal tunnel and decided they couldn't finish it.

Sounds like an awesome show! I'm contemplating whether I'll attempt to get into 1 of these shows or not

this show was fucking awesome. set list was quality, basically everything i wanted to hear was played...good mix of old shit as well which was appreciated. a lot of interaction with fans, pete was picking out people from the crowd and letting them pick which song they would play next which they followed through on like 70% of the time haha. i got there at 2pm and was like in the middle of the line at the end, after they cut people off who wouldn't get in. just a great time

oh and i heard the security guys talking while giving out wristbands and one dude was like 'are we doing 350?' and the other guy was like 'no way...200' which leads me to believe there were only 200 people there which is pretty crazy as well

this was totally worth the 5 hours i sat in line.
hands down one of the best shows i have ever been to.

I am so fucking jealous and bitter...Seattle never gets anything as amazing as this. 7 songs off of TTTYG?...not to mention some of the best songs from the other albums too.

Fucking amazing

I hope that the Columbus date really is next Tuesday... I randomly don't have classes for Veteran's day and would kill to go to this.

no barricade, many times throughout the show the security guards were telling people to back up

Well I sure hope they play it in Chicago; one of my favorites songs off of IOH

yeah it's one of the better songs off IOH but that's not saying much considering how bad that album is. songs i was hoping for included chicago is so two years ago, tell that mick, and nobody puts baby in the corner and i got all of them so i was happy

This was an awesome show. It was great of them to take requests the entire night and it was also really cool to have Patrick talking during the show, which he normally doesn't do. It was such a laid back show and the guys were goofing around so much. Good times.

I agree. Minus a few songs, it's a very good overall album.

No barricade but secuirty by the stage? I'm sure that worked out so well.

I remember reading about the "secert" show they did in the past year when they played TTTYG in-full and there were pile ons, hardcore dancing, stage diving, ect - I was hoping to hear more of that. Haha.

I don't think it's a bad album either, it's not TTTYG but it's still quite enjoyable.
But I could defenitly do without them playing CTOL.

Hopefully the show is Cleveland at either: Grog Shop, Peabody's Downunder or The Agora Ballroom and is after the 19th because I'd like to go/see this.

that's a damn good set.
i'd love to be able to see one of these shows, no barricades, really dedicated fans. it's cool that they do so many small shows even though they're a "stadium" band, now.

agora ballroom would be nice. thats where i met them for the first [and only] time.

i think i had a dream they announced a cleveland show. it kinda seems like they have to come here, because when they do they always say such good things, and they havent been here since may of last year.

but at the same time, if they do come here, i probably wont be able to go, which will suck.

I can't say enough good things about this show. The boys kept it real and relaxed which was so cool to see as a longtime fan. Everyone was so into it and I think I can speak for a lot of the people who waited 5+ hours when I say this show was well worth it. The fact that they played a lot of TTTYG songs didnt hurt, either. This was truly an awesome experience, and I'm proud to say I was part of it.

Very sweet setlist. And any idea what DVD this is? I'm hoping it's that documentary, with footage from that TTTYG secret show, and the making of the new album.

I also went last night, such a good show. I was waiting since about 1, but it was totally worth it. Before the doors opened, a guy in a bear suit ran by the line of people waiting, with I Don't Care playing from a speaker. A few minutes later, he ran by again without the mask, showing it was Pete, which got the line (at least by me) really excited.

Setlist was basically perfect, I think, all of my favorite songs were played, and with the exception of Thriller, everything played was a song that I really liked.

The official fan capacity for the show last night was 340. They gave out 190 wristbands to kids waiting in line, and the other 150 was a mix of radio comps, ock comps and liquor label comps. Amazing show.

This was one of the greatest show's I've ever been too. Patrick sounded fucking perfect, they played so many great songs. They really took care of their fans for this show, I drove 3 hours, stayed in a hotel and waited 6 hours at the venue, 3 in the rain, for this. 100% worth it.

yes, while pete would fuck around and bang on the drums with his hand every 10 seconds thinking it was hilarious, which it was maybe the first 2 or 3 times.

if you type in fall out boy 11/6/08 or fall out boy allston then you can see some videos of this show. i've been watching them for the nostalgic factor haha, such a good show
