so i have been getting into a lot of disputes about this lately...

i find that all life leads to natural selection.humans use up their resources and must find way to adapt. the situation in ethiopia is a perfect example. these people are suffering and starving when their fate is eminent. they will eventually die out. i think it is cruel to watch these people die but it is going to happen regardless. leaving these people will lead to the definite over population of the world.

you probably think my views are ignorant. thats what every one says...
"please get hit by a car" is my favorite.

what do you guys think?

If your spelling wasn't so putrid I'd agree with you.

somehow it hit on some truths, but a much more practical and obvious solution to accepting death of a mass group of people as neccessary to avoid overpopulation would be to be less careless as a world, take care of those people by sharing our resources, start wearing condems, and stop letting people off the hook for having kids they can't take care of which eventually leads to money strains on the government and kids raised in shitty enviornments who turn out to be shitty people who go and make more kids.

Darwin came up with this centuries ago.

And your ideology is fundementally flawed.

very true. some people just don't know when to stop. the hasidic jews in my neighborhood have about 7 kids a piece and then live off of welfare. assholes.

i want to try reading that book he wrote. what was it called?

Your view presupposes that naturality of a situation means we should allow it to stay that way. Upon a closer look, that would mean that anything you do to better your situation goes against your ideology.

And the name of his books is "The Origin Of Species".

Couldn't things like medicine, technology, etc. be considered adapting to your surroundings?

That doesn't hold up as in many cases we haven't adapted so much as others have provided us with the evolved product.

yes, that's what he's saying...the original post presupposes that ethiopia will die out dispite these things which is basically saying the theory is accurate only if we decide not to act in order to help them survive...which makes the argument flawed because it depends on our decision of whether or not to help. survival of the fittest and darwin's theory's work, even the church hasn't found it's way to argue with darwin, but it doesn't apply to the ethiopia situation because it depends on a variable.

Well, their location doesn't provide the resources for much advancement. So that's the part where you wonder do we contribute the money to help them with things like fertilizer, or do we let them die?

westerners have went to these foreign countries and tried to help. the people are so caught up in their culture that they deny ours. they think we are inferior.

Take into consideration that it is in the wests best interests for these people to be in this state.

i find that the smart people from these cultures are now here. if they could afford a plane ticket over here they would be in a hell of a better situation, even if they just become bums.

That has nothing to do with my point.
