but seriously, maybe if he disappeared pop-punk frontmen would stop trying to copy him by forcing all these shitty thin whiney scene voices out, and sing in their own voice (even if it is already a thin voice) and the genre would take a step back in the right direction.

I'm interested in hearing this. I dig Chris' lyrics as well as the openess that Max has to his songwriting. I think this will be an alright combination. Although I've never heard any of their stuff, I could be wrong.
