Formed in June of 2008 and based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, After Yellow Red is an indie rock duo from the Midwest comprised of Greg Alfaro and Carlos J. Zapata. Backed by an energetic and charismatic live band, After Yellow Red strives to create an engaging and intimate yet aggressive atmosphere in their live performances. After Yellow Red have played a handful of shows around the Midwest since their inception, including venues such as the Rave in Milwaukee and The Bottom Lounge in Chicago.

After Yellow Red's self produced debut EP, Modernism & Moving On, is set to be released in December of 2008 followed by their first full length in Spring/Early Summer of 2009. Their Debut EP showcases the group's ability to craft songs filled with invigorating orchestration, ambient rock guitar, and subtle electronic undertones combined with a smooth and, at times, urgent pop sensibility.

After Yellow Red's goal is to use their hardworking DIY ethic to get their music into the hands of as many people as possible while continuing to improve their already dynamic live show and craft engaging songs that blur the lines between pop, rock, and truly sincere music.

Hey guys! We would still very much like your feedback! We are currently completing our final mixing and mastering for our debut EP. The songs on our myspace page are demos that we recorded at the end of September. Most of those songs will be on our EP along with a couple other that are all re-recorded and re-mixed. The Ep will be available at the end of the month and available through most online retailers in early January. We are really excited for it and also have alot of shows planned for the coming year along with the release of our first full length for Summer of '09.

Take care and thanks for listening!
