The NYC date for the nov club show / secret show tour was this past weds the 6th. I don't think there's going to be another NYC date, maybe you can correct me if I'm wrong.

and i heard the show was canceled, and have seen no mention of it anywhere, so i don't think it happened
no youtube videos, no mention of people going on the fall out boy boards or anywhere else that i have seen

there's a christmas show here with the academy is. i'm debating on wether or not to attend this since it's like 45 bucks after ticketmaster rapes your wallet. i haven't been interested in seeing fall out boy in 4 years, but if they're playing this kind of a set, hmm, it may be worth it.

I can almost guarantee that the sets for the christmas shows won't be like this.
I am so jealous of these small club shows:(

Yeah the 5th. They were at A&K in NYC. Maybe they didn't end up playing a set, but that seems odd to just show up and have some drinks. Then again thats what the event is listed as, "drinking games with pete wentz and fob"

Anytime it's announced, made a big deal out of, they have contests for it, it is NOT a secret show haha.
Also, with regards to upcoming club shows (those damn Christmas shows DO NOT count) there are 5 more to be announced, I no longer trust AP.net about them, I trust the entry form for the "Open for FOB"
http://www.friendsorenemies.com/web/foe/groups/openupforfalloutboy/
this is where all the rest will be announced.
If there isn't a Chicago date....well.....fuck that =)

I've heard there will be 8 shows
and i seriously think they changed how they are announcing them after the chaos of the first 2 shows
b/c really the next couple should have been announced by now if they want time for bands to submit and have time to actually sort thru and pick and then contact the band
but who knows

Was sick... the only thing worse than the screaming 16 year olds were the "jaded older fans" who just bitch when they cut the line off. I can't take people who are ADULTS who travel more hours for shows than they do working.
I hate them even more than the new fans.

Shittiest venue in the fucking world. I have been to the North Star countless time seeing artists like Manchester Orchestra and Kevin Devine, obviously not stuff the size of FOB, and I had no problems going and having a good time. No barricade, no security, nothing. This show was completely different. Outside they had signs that said no moshing, no crowd surfing, etc etc. But these days what places don't? Most just don't enforce that shit. Anyway, the North Star had security crawling all over the stage as well as security roaming around in the crowd who wouldn't let you do anything. It was if they expected everyone to just stand in place. I tried just moving up toward the front and people were screaming, "No moving!" and security flipped out on me. The crowd was awful, I'd say 75% of them have never been to a show. All the culminated during "Chicago Is So Two Years Ago" when I tried crowd surfing and security ripped me down by the collar of my shirt and smashed my head off the ground. They then went on to pick me up by my throat and shove me out the door. If you don't want to read all this, then just focus on this: FUCK THE NORTH STAR BAR

what a cool set list!! sounds like alot of fun
doesnt sound like the North Star bar is a fun place though
They should def have an age limit on these shows, I mean I am 17 but I am mature enough not to go "crazy" during a show. It kind of looses the fun when you get that
I like it when FOB does small clubs they should do it alittle more
just-in.

good call man, north star bar is the WORST venue in Philadelphia. They don't let you do shit because they don't want to get sued. That was a main reason I did not attend this show. Actually, this show would of been better at the TLA.... its still somewhat small and more people would of got in. I will never go back there again.... I saw Street Dogs there about 2 years ago and kids were kicked out left and right.
if it was a perfect world this show would have been at the first unitarian church but hey thats asking to much

is it wrong that i would feel bad for that situation if you would not have been a crowd surfer? crowd surfing is one of the dumbest things to happen at shows. absurd.

crowd surfers deserve whatever treatment they get. well within reason, and actually i think really you should be pulled down (but put on your feet not your head) and be told if you do it again you are kicked out of the show because its annoying like no other.

you'd probably hate The Metro here
they just keep pushing you back in the crowd, I guess it's more annoying if you are in the front, cause the surfer NEVER goes away!
fuck crowd surfing, I'm there to enjoy a show, I can't do that when I'm getting kicked in the head and my glasses fall off.

Two on the stage and two on each side for a total of 6, not to mention the 3 they had roaming around in the crowd. This opposed to the zero total security I've seen in the rest of the shows I've seen there combined.

Dude having fun at a fall out boy show is slim these days.... I mean their target audience is 15 year old girls and if fall out boy had any backbone they would of called out security for being dickheads and throwing out kids that are going off for their music. They did not though and security had their way

I know this was like a month ago but I'm still high from it, especially since I've been anticipating the new album for so long. I watched FOB on Fuse the other night and thought "Wow, these people will never get to see FOB the way I did." The set list was absolutely perfect.
And COTA, I'm glad they kicked you out because you kicked me in the fucking head crowdsurfing. The place was too small and too packed to do it. There was no barricade, so they couldn't have security guards up front ya dumshit.
My friend and I waited from seven in the morning, and were the second people there. We really could have come at like one, because we got in line at 1:30. Made friends with people in line. It was great.
Pete smiled at me during a song!
I wish the guys would have stuck around after the show. There was only 250 something people there, they should've met everyone!

I'm a fifteen year old girl. I had no problem with security there. One dude kept slamming me and I was trying to get away from him the whole time (finally did when I stood up on that step thing) but seriously man c'mon. Don't be obnoxious and try to mosh and crowdsurf in such a tiny place. So actually, perhaps it was good the security guards threw them out so obnoxious fatties wouldn't crush all of us fifteen year old girls.
