They have disgusted the fuck out of me. I have no idea what changed that has made them go back to such a vanilla offense. I hope they snap out of it and get a win on Monday night. The season isn't over yet, but if they blow that game, it might as well be.
I was going to ask if you would be there then remembered you're the Bills fan in GA. I agree with you though on being disgusted. They've had all these injuries. The only significant one on offense is Josh Reed. Brad Butler/Melvin Fowler were the two weakest links on the O-line. Preston has been fine in place of Fowler. So they have Schobel and Whitner, the veteran presence and the young leader, out on D, and their CB depth drops like flies too....and then the D actually plays well and the O goes to shit.
FUCK YOU BILLS.
...can't wait for Monday night though. I'm not driving and there's a 30 rack with my name on most of it since I'm splitting the cost with Tommy Two Beers himself.

The truth is if they don't find a way to win on Monday, they don't deserve playoffs. I am dying for them to get there though. I really am.
Their injury situation isn't as bad as last year, but it isn't helping at all. They have no pass rush. And Trent's turnovers make me want to vomit. If it wasn't for the turnovers in the Jets game, we win that game. But then you have to start talking about the Offensive line and a lot of things are debatable. The defense did pretty well against the Patriots today. You can't expect them to dominate when they are on the field for 40 fucking minutes though. That really bothered me.
I try to remind myself that we are basically a 2nd year team. There are a handful of vets and a handful of rookies, so realistically I shouldn't be expecting great things. They do have a lot of talent, so I hope they can get a playoff berth. The fans really need it.

The truth is if they don't go 2-1, if not 3-0, in their next 3 games, they have no business even thinking playoffs. Cleveland played better against Denver last week, but Denver's D has made everyone look like all-stars. Kansas City is playing better with Thigpen under center, but the fact remains they are 1-8 and are in complete rebuild mode. San Fran....well I don't need to explain that.
I agree with you about basically being a 2nd year team. They're so, so young overall, and if teams are built properly, they have 3-5 year windows of opportunity to make a run at the Super Bowl where they are legit contenders/playoff teams. I'm not so sure that window is open yet, but this could very well be Year 1 where we're on the outside looking in, or Year 1 where we're a #5/#6 who makes the wild card game and no further. Add the right rookies, add the right vets, fix the weak spots, next year you take it a step further.
The oldest player on our roster is 33. Jason Whittle. Moorman is 32. Lindell, Denney and Schobel are 31, and Royal and Stroud are 30. 21 of 53 players have 5 or more years of NFL experience. Guys in their 5th season are like Evans, Peters, Greer, Losman, etc.....and I still think of them as pretty young as far as their careers go. Another 20 players are rookies or in their 2nd season. Insane when you think about it.

Let me ask you a question. Do you like beer and rowdy fans? If you say yes, As long as you're not in Browns gear they'll be friendly and you'll love it. Even though the stadium itself is nothing special, the party is what makes it.
Well I will be driving down with a mini BBQ in order to tailgate with my Marshawn Lynch jersey, and tons of money put aside for beer and a hat lol I think I'll be alright. Super stoked.

I was born in Western New York. I can't even imagine being anything but a Bills fan.

Agreed. It's frustrating losing, but I think we're right on the edge of being something great. And if we make the playoffs as a wildcard and lose, I'm totally okay with that. I really want to see this team in the post season, and I think that would do even more to develop them as a team. The next few weeks are critical.

$25 for parking. Just so you know. Shit is probably going to get a little out of hand with it being a Monday night game and Cleveland being so close (=more Cleveland fans than normal for the visiting team). I heard some crazy stories about the Dallas game last year.
I know I'll be there right when the lots open at 3 or 3:30. I think my group is doing beer pong, BBQ, Kan Jam and whatever else we can find to kill time. Gonna be great.

lol @ the chiefs for blowning that game. dammit. i needed pittsburgh and the chiefs to win. great, now the Jags really have to win out to have any shot at a wild card position.

I'm staying at a hotel, and there may be a shuttle, so hopefully that could save some money. How much are beers?

"you HAVE to challenge this play, out of desperation!" (to jacobs fumble before the end zone which he was CLEARLY down)

Reid has got to be one of the worst play callers on third and short. Your running game is doing nothing all night so on third and short I guess you should run again? And on fourth? Hey it did not work the first time so it should work this time right???

Once again proving that Reid's brain just shuts off as soon as the two minute warning hits.
Unfuckingbelievable.

i'm still irked at how bad the playcalling and coaching decisions were for the eagles today. I know they've been suspect a bit throughout the season, but shit, this was really really bad.
that or maybe i noticed it more because i really could have used McNabb getting another TD at the end.
