There is a Alkaline Trio (www.alkalinetrio.com) headlining tour with Rise Against (www.riseagainst.com) supporting in July. Other bands will be announced shortly.

holy crap, the best part is, since both bands are from chicago, thats probably the furthest i'll have to drive to see this, which i was gonna go down there this summer anyway.

Amazing, this has to come to Totonto. Hopefully it will. Alk3 hasn't been here in over a year and with the release of the new album it due time they come. Both of these bands are amazing. This is one show i'll go to no matter the cost, two of the best band around.

My two favorite bands touring together.

This was rather unexpected.

I was assuming that the Trio would be touring with a Vagrant band (New Ams was what I expected) this summer.

Let me repeat what everyone has already said...this is the best news I've heard in awhile. This tours sounds like the tour of the summer. Granted it's only two bands...it's still amazing.

And yes, let's pray for the Metro, or HOB (thats a long shot) and hope it's not Aragon or Riviera.

Rise Against is going to kick ass! Alkaline Trio will also but that goes without saying. It's going to be a great tour. I wonder who else is going to hit the road with them.
