How ironic. I'm actually asking for help in this forum when I've done nothing but be negative towards you people for months.

Anyway, I'm thinking about asking a girl to prom. But I don't quite know how to do it. The way I'm thinking is that I burn her a cd, and tell her I burned her 2 cds. So I put both cd's in the same case, and when she takes out the first cd, the second cd says 'will you go to prom with me?'

How is it? Any better suggestions?

I think that is a pretty good idea. Although I would rather just ask her in person. But of course, this year will be the first prom I go to, considering I am a freshman. And since I was asked, I didnt have to put a lot of thought in how I would approach it. But I knew it was coming from a couple of girls, so I was expecting it. But have fun, and just make sure you solidify that you are going with her, just so she doesnt get asked before you get to it.

aye, is a bit corny... - i went to a private all-boys school so i didnt have to deal with finding a date for the prom...(im sure id have been knocked out if i tried..)

but how i see it, the simpler the better... spend a bit of time with her before hand, hang out alot so you can gauge a reaction and not just jump out from a locker screaming incoherently about dancing and punch. maybe even ask her while you're out together, not in confines of the school.
(that stops any unpleasant heckling if she turns u down in a busy school corridor)...
