Illuminate is a fantastic album and i praise Lydia for once again blowing my mind with their emotion packed music, but I want to talk about their 2005 CD This December, Its One More and I'm Free.
I found myself hypnotized by how much feeling Lydia was able to create with this album. Some of my favorite lyrics of all time are described in this masterpiece. Every word seems to be so entricate and revealing, things I'd want to say to a boyfriend in the prosess of breaking my heart... words I want my best friend to notice... words I could hear over and over again and still get that same feeling.
It's because of bands like Lydia and albums like This December that I began to really listen to what was being said. I began to feel music rather than just jump up and down waving my arms at the latest trendy shows. If you haven't heard it, PLEASE do.... you won't be wasting your time!
Unfortunately I'm sad to say that I can't get my hands on this CD because it never came out in Canada and currently with the limited CD's released I'm struggling to find a source that could ship it out here (nope to ebay and amazon). I would really appreciate it if anyone out there could help me gain possesion of a copy!
Thanks!

"Well it's here,
and your expensive taste
that we should have framed this place.
And kept it in your shelf.
Next to you big city dreams.
It's in your touch it seems.
But you wear that on your sleeve,
and all the thoughts that make you bleed."
