Fuck, I can't believe this. I never met him but only his other band mates -- really friendly fellows. I've been a fan for a year now but for some reason I always thought with my donation and everyone else's we could help kick cancer's ass and he would recover and he'd come back and they'd be reuinted as the talented band they are. This has caught me completely off-guard -- especially after seeing them 3 times last month and screaming "fuck cancer" at every show with them. Agh, this is terrible. Rest in peace, man. :(

My friends in Four Alarm Fire and I just helf a benifit concert that raised $8,000 for our friend with cancer. She is in stage four and most likely isn't going to be cured, but still the thoughts that people have for her and people like Scott while battling these life threatening disease's is incredible. I wish people felt more like that every day without having the disease as the only reason.

I saw Bleed the Dream live a few weeks on the Taste of Chaos tour in San Jose, CA. The band played the song they wrote for Scott. I remember them saying that once Scott got better he would come out on tour again. The band seemed really bummed out that Scott wasn't on tour with them. I'm going to check out more from Bleed the Dream. The sound at the show was really bad. So I couldn't hear much from any of the bands. To all the fans....I'm truly sorry.

I remember when they were on the matchbook romance tour and they played acoustic because he was in the hospital. I think everyone in the venue donated at least a dollar.
