Killers / Bravery Feud Rages On

The Bravery have responded (http://www.aversion.com/news/news_article.cfm?news_id=4095&source=email&campaign=041105) to Brandon Flowers' (The Killers frontman) statement of their band and their "bandwagon" sound in a recent MTV article. And it looks like things are getting ugly. And by ugly, I mean childish.

The Killers have no room to talk. Their band is terrible and to say another band is copying them is flat out ludacris. That guy from the killers deserves to be castrated.

I happen to like both bands but the fact that they are ripping on each other for being unoriginal is laughable...they both sound like direct decendants of their influences...this is just a stupid little band feud that will be forgotten within the next month. I think in a fight though the Bravery would win...they are way bigger than the Killers.

Even though i do like those two bands International Noise Conspiracy, Bloc Party and The AKA's play along the same lines as these bands and are way better.

The Killers have maybe 4-5 catchy songs. The Bravery are boring. Bloc Party's "Silent Alarm" is easily one of the best, if not THE best releases in 2005. That album is good all the way through. Their slow songs are some of the most beautiful songs i have heard in awhile.

You know, I was thinking the same thing. I saw the Killers live and really disliked their live performance, The Bravery are decent live, but Bloc Party but on a seriously rockin' show.
