Motion City Soundtrack Gets "Indie" With New Video

Video directors Chris Mills (Modest Mouse) and Chris Grismer (The Arcade Fire) are teaming up to helm the clip for Motion City Soundtrack (http://www.motioncitysoundtrack.com)'s new single, "Everything Is Alright." The song is from the band's new album, Commit This to Memory, which is due on June 7th.

That's a great choice for an opening single.

My buddy and I predicted that this song will be semi-popular - at least put them on the "map" - and then they'll release track four and, as much as I don't like that song, it'll make them huge.

I saw them the other night as well, when they played with Circa Survive, Lucero, and Taking Back Sunday, in Cincinnati. It was an amazing show. Were those pictures taken at Bogarts?

hmm that makes sense. i grew up in hawaii and my dad works in the film and commercial industry. it's NOT cheap to film there and they've been getting less and less business back home over the past few years.

speaking of filming in hawaii, don't the beach scenes in the new gratitude video (which weren't done in hawaii) look like it should feature a guest appearance from ashanti or jennifer lopez or something? weird. i'm not a fan of it.

When You're Around and L.G.F.U.A.D. are great tracks, but they basically nullified all chances of those being singles based upon the keyparts of both, unless they do like song rap videos and change the worlds.
