I really wanted that too. I was heart broken when he turned out to be an ass. He's like the perfect kind of guy. He was on 30 rock too, and even when he doesn't look like a rocker guy, he's still the hot sweet guy.

I don't think that's ever going to happen, because no matter how much we want it, it kind of ruins the plot of the show. I think it's more about their friendship and how you can love someone even if you are not in a romantic relationship with them.

Probably so. I guess because I've watched the Columbian and Mexican versions where Betty is in love with her boss, who then goes through a huge roller coaster of emotions and events then towards the end of the series she would end up getting married to her boss. So that's why I'm still waiting for it but I get what the show is trying to do and show the story in a whole new different aspect.

It would be worth the watch IMO if you ever do get to watch it. And yeah those versions focus a lot on Betty and her unrequited love for her promiscuous boss and how they eventually get together especially in the Columbian version not so much in the Mexican one but still that's the overall theme.
