It's 10:40 PM on April 13th, 2005 and i'm sitting in my living room writing this. Last night me and my three friends hit up the Drive-Thru Records (http://www.drivethrurecords.com)/Fueled By Ramen (http://www.fueledbyramen.com) tour while at the Toronto stop. We took the train to Toronto, walked a shitload of blocks through the jam-packed, begger-filled streets for just one reason, and one reason only: LESS THAN JAKE.

Kane Hodder were the first band on the bill, who we just so happened to miss, so I can't really say much about them. But from what i've heard, they at least played well. Hidden In Plain View came second, and regardless of the fact that I can't say i'm the biggest fan of the band, it was obvious they knew what they were doing and did a damn good job of it. Following them were Allister, who I saw once before last night. They played a mix of songs from Dead Ends and Girlfriends and Last Stop Suburbia, as well as D2 and possibly some other new songs.

Last but not least, the moment had arrived. LESS THAN JAKE! LESS THAN JAKE! This rang through the crowd, compliments of my group of friends, for nearly 20 minutes before the curtains opened. I've been waiting to see this band live for close to 6 years now, so it's safe to say I was pretty pumped. They opened with "How's My Driving, Doug Hastings?", and instantly the crowd went off. Skanking, moshing, body-surfing, and on-stage make-out games followed. J.R. had a good time with his toilet-paper gun, covering the whole crowd in white. Speaking of white, if you ever meet Chris, ask him to tell you a joke or two (people at the show last night will know what i'm talking about). Overall, Less Than Jake were a hundred times better than I possibly could've imagined a live band could be. They played all the classics, the newest fan-favourites, and also a couple new tracks. If you get the chance, go see this band live, and if you can, check out this tour when it comes to a city near you!

yeah, saw them in sayreville. LTJ was absolutely amazing....although Kayne Hodder was garbage, be happy you missed them.

LTJ always does awesome set lists by the way, I've seen them 5 times and each time they seem to play about every song you want to hear.
