definitely looking forward to this.
in my opinion, the last great double discs were Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness and Life After Death which were both classics and incredible albums.

how come bands don't release their double disc albums in the fat cases anymore?
they're all thin and jammed together. that's whack. i want my double discs THICK and NOTICEABLE, nah mean? with extra liner notes and cd art!

foo fighters kicks so much ass it shouldn't be legal. i was a little disappointed by 'one by one' but i'm really looking forward to this.

yeah. definitely looking forward as well. dave seems like such a cool guy. ive enjoyed all their albums theyve put out so far so im loving that its a double-disc set. and yeah. i agree about the cd case issue. i like the thick cases as well.

Are they releasing this as a whole double album, or as two separate albums released at the same time (i.e., Bright Eyes, Nelly)?

Additionally, if they have a song that resembles Strawberry Fields or Everlong...it shall make me happy.

Holy crap reading that just made me so jealous of that guy who wrote it. I'd give my right arm to hear new Foo Fighters stuff. As of now, if someone asked me which album to buy i'd say Colour and Shape but this album could take that over. I really hope it does. I can't wait for this album, its already number one of the year on my list and i haven't even heard it.

I can't fucking wait for this. One By One was okay I just never gave it as good of a chance as I wished I could have. This should be quite good.

this article got me really really excited for this album, as if i wasnt already excited, like man this could be their Physical Graffiti thats pretty intense because Physical Graffiti is an amaaazing album i dont care who you are you have to respect the Led Zeppelin, plus they arguably had the greatest rock guitarist ever in Jimmy Page.
