Steel Train Post New Song On Myspace

Steel Train (www.steeltrainmusic.com) has posted another new song titled "Road Song" on their myspace (http://www.myspace.com/steeltrainrocks) page. Pick up the band's upcoming album Twilight Tales From The Prairies Of The Sun which hits stores April 19th (this Tuesday) through Drive-Thru Records.

I love Steel Train and this CD, but I don't think they made the best choice on which songs to release before the album comes out. Better Love and Road Song are great, but they just have a different feel than most of the album, and I bet this a lot of people are going to get something different than they expect and possibly be let down.

i think the definitive version of this tune definitely appeared on the drive-thru dvd, vol. 2. they played it acoustic, and it is phenomenal. i saw 'em last night, actually.

I just mean that most of the songs on the cd do not sound like Better Love (which is the song on the DTR/Rushmore) or Road Song. So I think they're giving the listeners the wrong idea of what to expect. So just don't expect the whole cd to sound like those two songs, because that's not what you'll get. In no way do I mean that the rest of the cd is not as good as those two. The whole cd blows me away.

Not many of their songs sound alike, unless that changed on this album.

These songs are so different, they fit together so well.
