Weezer To Play Lollapalooza; Radio Special

Weezer (http://www.weezer.com) will be playing the Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago which takes place on July 23rd and 24th. The day they're specifically playing has not been confirmed yet. Also, the band will be on an one hour radio special that will broadcast the band live in Philadelphia. The band will be on hand for their "only" radio interview discussing the new release, Make Believe, while fielding phone calls from a national audience. The show will be hosted by Jim McGuinn and will air Monday, May 9th at 8:00PM EST with a replay for west coast stations at 8:00PM PST.

So its just a 2 day festival in Chicago this year? As for the dates I think that is bad planning since some of the same people would want to go to both.

I'm pretty sure Beck is confirmed for Day One and Widespread Panic for Day Two. That's all I know, though.

They will probably never relase artist as far as what day they are playing so they could sell tickets.
