I've been on a Recess kick lately. I recently found out Disney channel airs it Tuesday-Friday at 3 in the morning. Gus is obviously my favorite character haha. "Dodgeball City" aka El Diablo is my favorite episode.

i fucking love this show so much. i watched it when i was about 10 and then they stopped showing it for a bit then i started watching it again when i was like 16 haha.
it used be on at some crazy hour and i'd always stay up to watch it.

Recess was a great show. Drove me nuts that they only had a small amount of episodes and thus they played the same ones over and over again every Saturday morning, but it was still great.

i loved the episode where they built this like palace underground and those prick twins kept ruining it. the combination of recess and the weekenders made for the best saturday mornings in history.

Recess > The Weekenders. i loved the weekenders but recess was better.
but it always annoyed me how at the end of every episode the main kid always said ''later days!" i always thought it sounded really lame.

three. amazing. shows.
i was fucking pumped for the recess movie which i *admits proudly* watched in theaters and thought was the greatest movie of all time at the time because let's face it, robbing summer vacation is really quite a crime

gus and mikey were clearly better, i could not agree with you more.
i think it's pretty impossible to not love gus and mikey, well you can't not love mikey either!

Just watched Recess: Taking the Fifth Grade. I enjoyed it more than the movie. Although I didn't like the new voice actor for TJ. Too bad they didn't do a full season for the fifth grade :-(

This show is pure ace. All my friends rag on me for liking it and say it's "the poor man's Hey Arnold". I think it's much better though.

That's freaky. Yesterday I was at a friend's house and I could hear her little brother watching TV in the other room, and it was Mikey singing that. I said, "Is it sad that I know that's Recess?"

The movie wasn't bad either
I loved the movie, but my mom fell asleep in the theater when she took me to see it.
I never understood why she was so bored during it.
EDIT: I feel like there was an episode where a boy got shoved into the girls room. Am I remembering this correctly or was that a different show?
