yeah i agree brother. but seriously...this is NU METAL. i thought the glassjaw/hardcore thing would be a bad direction (i think with 'worms of the earth', which was sick, we all thought they were going towards that sort of sound) to go in considering everyone's doing that now but they fooled us all...they went fuckin nu metal.

you knew it was coming and here I am, bye scene-points, ok first of all you CAN'T judge those demos because most of those songs have been changed since then, especially considering most of the demos sound like they were recorded under a fucking rock. Reduced To Teeth is waaaaaaay different and Fireflies is 10x better than the demo or any old ass live mp3 you guys might have. Dreams OF Psilocybin is definately worth buying the cd alone, its insane and i.m.o. the best thing they have ever done and I promise you that when all these fucking 13 year old kids (who want Finch to sound like Glassjaw or The Starting Line) hear this shit they WILL HATE IT, but won't be able to deny it, and thats what I'm happy about, the music is darker than ever and we're weeding out all the fucking ignorant scene kids, slowly but surely. If anything this album will open Finch up to fans of bands like Far, Failure, HUM, and the like and not fucking Godsmack or w/e lame shit you guys repeat every god-damn thread, its like I keep telling you TALK ABOUT A BAND YOU LIKE, WHY ARE YOU WASTING YOUR TIME SAYING THE SAME SNIDE REMARKS EVERYTIME THERE'S A FINCH POST, YOU DON'T LIKE THE NEW SHIT, FUCKING GET OVER IT!

I am going to see them this May in London with Motion City Soundtrack. If the show at all resembles WIITB it will be a toss up who I am more excited to see but I think the edge would still go to Motion City Soundtrack; their new CD "Commit This To Memory" f'ing owns!

Last time Finch was in Detroit, I went and saw them and I thought these songs were bad ass.

It's pretty funny how so many people hate them but so many people are obsessed with hearing these shitty demos and shitty live recordings of their new stuff. I don't remember seeing many other 7-song samplers of studio demos and pre-production shit floating around for other bands because of how anticipated it is.


I give Finch props for even being able to get this much criticism. Fuck bitchy fans. If I was them, I wouldn't want half of you listening to my shit anyway.
