Mine would be George Harrison. He wrote some of their best songs, in my opinion (Here Comes the Sun, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Something, etc.)

Who's your favorite?

All of the above. The Beatles are just one being with four separate bodies.

People actually picked Paul over John? What is this world coming to!?!

I love the Beatles, but I prefer Lennons genius over McCartneys. I would have to say though my favorite Beatles songs are A Day In The Life, Hey Jude, Come Together, Ticket To Ride, and Dear Prudence.

What a strange question.

They were all the whole band, in my opinion. If you took Paul's bass playing, or Ringo's drumming style out of a John song, it would be nothing. If you took George's lead out of a Paul single, it would be nothing.

Basically the opposite of this.

john completely contorlled the beatles. read any book, or watch any documentary. and then i said pauls the soul, because he does most of those awesome ballads

I picked Lennon because of his politics, personally. I love 'em all though.

McCartney, although Harrison and Lennon are both very close. The Beatles could have been the Beatles w/out Ringo.

Lennon, but they were all great.

George HArrison was kind of the unsung hero of The Beatles, he wrote some great songs. But Lennon/McCartney where like the one two punch that made them the greatest band in the history of the world

Those who voted for Ringo need to see a psychiatrist.

Whoah... what's with all the Ringo hate going on? He might not have written a lot or taken lead vocals very often, and his drumming wasn't flashy and in your face, but without him they wouldn't have been The Beatles. It was all about the chemistry and the magic that happened when the four of them came together, and with anyone else it wouldn't have been the same. Plus, listen to the drums on Strawberry Fields and even try and tell me he doesn't matter. Ringo ftw.

But yeah... I would say my favorite was George. His songs resonate with me the most, I love the personality he brought to the group, and his guitar playing is a huge influence on me. It's a shame he doesn't get as much credit as Lennon/McCartney do, he was every bit their equal.

all of paul's songs were really poppy, all of john's songs were deep and had edge, both good in certain context, but overall you gotta go with John Lennon
