wow, major labels are getting dumber by the day.
so, they want ME to find them bands for FREE.
AND they get my email address to spam me with their shit.
this is bogus for everyone but the label - RCA.
its also one of the uglier sites i've ever seen.

I'm not sure if it's that major labels are getting dumber by the day. I would have to say that it is the consumer (or, more directly, the people who are into this entire idea) who are the dumb ones. I mean, why not get people to do your work for free? I realize there are incentives there, but I'm not sure how realistic any of it is.

wow this is pretty dumb.

you can "win an internship"

anyone can get an internship, you just need to know the right people and have a phone or an email account so you can contact these people.

seirousley if you want to be in the record industry scams like this are not the way to go, it just sounds like some A&R guy is too lazy to do his job, or can not find a hit band.

if you really want to be in the music industry do something productive get out there and meet people and work your ass off. yeah its working for free but its pretty much the only way to get a job. sitting on your ass submitting one band a month isint going to get you anywhere.
