Summertime is just around the corner, and the VGS have some shows planned for the westcoast! CINCO DE MAYO WEEKEND the VGS will be playing two shows in Baja California, Mexico! Friday, May 6th we will be in Ensenada @ the HOUSE SK8 PARK. And Saturday, May 7th we will be at the VOODOOHOUSE in Tijuana. Both shows are only a few hours (2-3)hours away from anywhere in So.California. We invite all local area VGS fans to come make a weekend out of it with us!!! Also, on May 21st we will be headlining a special hometown concert at The Riverside Brewing Co. located in downtown Riverside, Ca. This event will take place during the annual Orange Blossom Festival in our hometowm of Riverside, Ca. It's the one-time a year that they close off our city streets and they let people party! Every year hundreds of thousands attend, and this year will be no different! There are also shows in the works for June in Los Angeles, Pomona, Lancaster & Yucca Valley, Ca.
And we are also planning a late summer/early fall U.S. tour with Catch 22 and others... Please keep checking the 'SHOWS' section for updates.
In other VGS news; We will probably beging writing new material for a new album through-out the summer. Since we have our own recording studio, we can do things at our own pace. We'll probably be releasing something new about this time next year.
If anything new comes up, we'll post it here and on our myspace page that Eddie, our guitarist is in charge of.
