okay. right. today is only like the third date. but im going saturday so i was wondering if anyone will be going before that or went tonight or the past 2 nights or whatever. if so what was Green Day's setlist like? how long do they play? good mix of old and new shit? or what... also how long does MCR play? im really only going to see GD. i think MCR is kinda lame truth be told. the only song i semi enjoy is "im not okay". so yea any and all info about the Green Day set will be much appreciated,... thank you

They start with a big portion new album. Then lots of singles from previous albums mixed with a few more American Idiot songs. Then they do the token cover of Operation Ivy's "Knowledge" with fans playing the instruments. Then an encore. Their set totals about 2 hours.

That set list is almost identical to the one I saw last Halloween. The only old songs he played were the Operation Ivy and Queen covers, and only "Knowledge" was ever recorded.

Yeah, when they played here that was about the setlist. That was in october though, and they only played two songs off American Idiot. I was very pleased. It was my favorite show I've been to, to date. The Queen cover is so fun.

Please, don't take earplugs, and try to get into the MCR set, theres a chance you might not be dissapointed.

i have both CDs.... im just not a very big fan. at all. and the live vids i have really arent that good...

I went to see Armor for Sleep and Mae with The Starting Line, and I figured that I wasn't a fan of The Starting Line, so we would leave early, since I had school the next day. I am in love with the new TSL album right now, and god damn am I regretting it!

yea... i think leaving early or showing up late is really dumb. some bands will surprise you.... who did that for me..... ummmm spitalfield. never heard of them, when they opened for the early november. and i went on time and they blew me away. i never miss bands at a show if i go...

I usually don't, but it was a whole last minute thing. I wasn't even supposed to go to the show, because no one wanted to go. The person I was going with didn't want to get home any later than 10, TSL didn't come on until about 9:30 so we had to leave. I did catch the first song, pretty good.

i just got back. it was freaking awesome.

im so pissed though. at the very end after good riddance Billie Joe came back to the mic and started playing "who wrote holden caulfield?" he played and sang the first 2 lines and then stopped and said "im sorry and thank you" and walked away. i was so hoping he'd at least play it by himself. when he started playing i looked for mike and tre to come back but they didnt. and then BJ stopped. thats the only thing they played off kerplunk.

they would have to play all night to fully please me...

oh no way dude.... im sure if they wanted to they could play all of kerplunk and slapps hours. they played alot in recent years before american idiot came out. theres no doubt they can play it. but they have so much material now. and they have to showcase alot of AI for all the new kids. the best thing ever would be a SOSH/Kerplunk/Dookie only tour,....
