Hidden In Plain View Get Key To City

WOODLAND HILLS CA, APRIL 18, 2005 ‹ The City Council of Springfield IL at
the behest of Mayor Tim Devlin honored New Jersey group Hidden In Plain View (www.hiddeninplainview.com)
by giving the band the key to the city and declaring April 15th Hidden In Plain View (www.hiddeninplainview.com) day.

Hidden In Plain View (www.hiddeninplainview.com), currently on tour with Allister, Kane Hodder, and Less
Than Jake, had a day off slated for April 15th but were convinced by local
band Midnight Fall to play the local Eagles Club. When Devlin and his
daughter, purported fans of HIPV¹s latest album, Life In Dreaming (out
February 22nd on Drive-Thru Records) found out, Devlin prompted the
Springfield City Council to honor the band with the key to the city and
their own declared day.

The key was presented by Mayor Devlin¹s daughter to the band at their Friday
night concert at the Eagles Club. According to Hidden In Plain View (www.hiddeninplainview.com)'s Rob
Freeman, the show was a huge success and everyone had a great time. Added
Freeman, "We plan to return to Springfield every April 15th to celebrate our
day!"

thanks for playing our small ass town. you see people... central illinois doesn't get alota shows that aren't kenny chesney. so when a decent band desides to play for us... we flip out and give em a key and day. so if any other bands wanna stop by... i'm sure we can hook you up with something. by the way-- this day and age, down to earth approach, farewell to twilight, and midnight fall also played the show. all bands were fantastic.

I saw there show in columbus. It was great. The crowd really sucked and they did a great job at playing there best for the few fans that were there. Garden Statement was amazing. Great band, Great guys.
