I'm looking for something a bit like the Matches.

Particularly the songs 'Salty Eyes', 'To Build a Mountain', and 'Clouds Crash'.

Acoustic and warm, but not straight forward like most acoustic music. I'd like something a bit more theatrical.

Thanks.

Try Kay Kay & His Weathered Underground they have more of a old school vibe to them, but they have some awesome melodies and the music is brilliant.

As for acoustic but more theatrical it hits the ticket perfectly.

I listened to both...

kay kay underground is the jist of what I'm looking for. i dug the theatrical aspect of it.

As for rory, not exactly what I'm looking for, but good stuff nonetheless.

Thank you both.

Any more rec's?

Yeah I knew Rory would not hit the accoustic spot but it's a little theatrical and I thought you would enjoy it.
Try Okkervil River?
