New Soul Eater was great. I like the whole insanity Soul has to deal with and what will happen if it takes over him. The Maka Chop was a good addition as well. Wasn't expecting Arachne to be dead. Can't wait for the next fight either.

It's going to be serialized in Shonen Jump starting in March.
I saw it was licensed, but I didn't know it was going to be in Shounen Jump. I haven't read a Shounen Jump in years. The first chapter is massive, so I would assume that they would cut it into parts. This is something I wouldn't mind picking up. That would make the total of mangas I buy to 3, that, REAL, and Slam Dunk. Prior to those 3, I only picked up GTO. All in all, if you guys are looking for something interesting to read to fill the void when waiting for DMWL, Soul Eater, Bleach, and Naruto this is worth a peek. It reminds me of Erementar Gerad, except it doesn't blow.

Lupin III: Green vs. Red

This is one heck of a confusing movie. After Lupin III retired (disappeared?), several fake Lupins pop up all across the world. After one of them shoplifts, they converge in Japan to clear the good name of Lupin. Eventually there's a showdown between a Lupin in red and a Lupin in green. One of them might be the real one but I couldn't tell.They never did say who was the real Lupin was but according to some blogs it was red. Aside from the giant robot and blatant McDonalds product placement, the animation was beautiful.

Wasn't expecting Nagi to be like that at all. I think he might turn into an undertaker after seeing how strong Senji is. Doesn't seem like anyone is going to save him, unless I missed something.

Ganta did need training though, so far he's been lucky. It should be pretty decent to read with a badass teacher. It's better than him having to rely only on his Red Man powers.

I was going to watch that Dragonball episode, but the loading is terrible and takes forever. Need to find somewhere else to watch it. I'm not use to the Japanese either, I've only ever watched it dubbed.

Just click on the download browser button, it only takes a minute. The loading on the episode for me didn't work at all, if I left it unactive while it loaded it completely reset so I had to watch 5 minutes then wait for it to load a little again. Might work for you though.

That's true. Senji looked awesome when he sliced them up, after Ganta beat him I wasn't sure if he was all that strong. This chapter took forever to come out, if it gets more popular it should be released more consistently.

Ebisu hasn't done much at all though. Konohamaru should be ok, can't see him dieing. I'd much rather they kill off some filler characters like Ebisu than Kakashi. I thought we would of seen him this chapter.

That would be Chise, the angel of death. She is a godlike war machine working with the Japanese military in the war. My biggest pet peeve with the show is that they never said who the enemy was or why they were at war. They tried to center it more on the awkward romance between Chise and Shuji. Every time they tried to make love, Chise was afraid that she would morph into a war machine and kill him. Shuji would then say "You dummy." It gets very repetitive. Overall I would give the series a C-/D.

Well, she still looks human, but with large metal wings sticking out of her back.

There's this one scene where she's in the shower. All of a sudden, the white curtain is stained red and missiles are overflowing from the tub. I thought that was kind of funny.

Slip covers only came with the first pressing. My only suggestion is to check if Best Buy/FYE/etc. has a copy with the slip cover and "exchange" it.

The Aburame clan looks bad ass as well with their entrance. The clan is too awesome to lose, Shino is far better than a fodder-nin.

Good to see Team Gai too, will be cool to see them save Kakashi, if he isn't already dead.

Bleach was setting up next chapter, not much happened. Yamamoto's fight should be pretty interesting, haven't seen him take anyone on since the Soul Society arc I think it was. There's possibly too much going on though, we still haven't seen any of Ichigo against Ulquiorra.

Team Medical Dragon sounds interesting.

Monster is one of my favorite series that I'm collecting. It can be compared to The Fugitive. Dr. Tenma was accused or murder and fled the country. The series is more about the people he meets on the road and how they help get closer to Johan, the "monster." There are several surgery scenes, but they're not key to the plot. Except for the brain surgery Temna performed on Johan when he was a child.

I usually can't stand Shin Chan but that looked/seemed funny. Does Shin Chan usually parody stuff like that? I never watch it. And I can't remember, do they dub it on Adult Swim, the only way to watch shin chan is subbed.

She uses it "fix" her bad day but she soon finds out that the ability causes unintentional harm to her classmates. After her friend asks her out, she leaps back in time to reverse it, several times, forging different relationships between her classmates. The plot takes a twist when one of her best friends takes the bike that Makoto crashed into a train with in the beginning of the film. Although there are some sci-fi elements, this is essentially of romantic slice of life film. It has a similar tone to the Studio Ghibli films, like a cross between Whisper of the Heart and Kiki's Delivery Service.


Grade: A-

That is really cheap. I liked FF:Unlmited a lot even though it might have not lived up to a lot of final fantasy fans ideas of being a good anime. Final Fantasy Advent Children is also really good, especially if your a fan of FF7.

It was pretty good but too short in my opinion. I would love to see the graphics again in blu ray though. I think I'm done hearing about the mako reactor, soldier, and stuff regarding FF7. haha, don't get me wrong it may be the best, but they made a bunch of final fantasy's for a reason.

Same here. I'll definitely buy it again. The blu ray is going to have extra scenes (there's a bad ass scene when Sephiroth impales Cloud with his Masamune, lifts him off the ground and throws him away like in FF7) and a fairly large demo of FF13 so it will be worth purchasing again.

Should be good. I'm not sure if Pein can get to where Naruto is though. I thought they needed a toad to travel through the different places? Konohamaru learning Rasengan was sweet too. I'd say that's a pretty big step up from sexy no jutsu.

They should of incorporated the other characters more into the story, that's the only thing I didn't like in Advent. Apart from the bahamut fight we didn't really see much of them. You can never have enough of Vincent, he needed way more screen time.

Yeah, I believe it's just a code name. I can't wait for both games. I'm a big fan of the KH combat system so it will be good to see how the Versus system plays. Nomura is directing the game and he never dissapoints. Hopefully they'll show some actual footage soon.

I'm playing The world ends with you for ds and its amazing. Pretty much anything square enix makes is gold.

FF13 will be on the PS3 and 360, but Versus is a PS3 exlusive as of now. There's also another game for the PSP called Agito coming out for the 13 series. Supposedly this compilation will be bigger than the one for FF7 so there should be a lot more released in the future.

There's a new Dragon Quest game coming out for the wii too if you like Square-Enix. Not too sure when it will be out though.

Ok, guys. I got the new issue of Yen Plus. Sumomomo, Momomo is on the Japanese cover and One Fine Day on the other. There is a preview of the manwha Goong.

They announced that Hero Tales will start serialization in the next issue. It's the new series from the author of Fullmetal Alchemist. Maximum Ride will be out of the issue until March. There's also a mystery box that says "super secret surprise!" in the next issue preview.

edit: I forgot to mention Higarashi "When They Cry" will not be published in Yen Plus anymore. The last chapter of the "Abducted By Demons" arc will be graphic novel only. Shit...

I really love Code Geass because the animation is amazing and I really like the storyline. But I'm in love with almost all of the clamp stuff (xxxholic, tsubasa, chobits). Sounds like I differ a lot in anime taste haha

Yep. I'm a massive KH fan too. I thought the mix of Disney and FF characters has been really well done and all the different worlds.

Birth By Sleep looks awesome, the history of the keyblade and the new people introduced and how they relate to the current characters sounds pretty interesting. Will be good to see how it ties in with KH3 when some information is finally revealed about it. There will probably be a secret trailer at the end of BBS, so far every game has had one.

I haven't got RE:Com yet, don't think it's been released in Australia. I don't have a Gameboy anymore so I'll probably buy it if it comes out here. The combat is far better than any other card system I've seen used in a game.

Your quote totally messed up, haha. I went through it first on normal without doing many missions then 100% completed it on hard. It's so much easier with the items and everything you keep on the second play through. Once you get Costly Punch and break the damage limit it isn't so bad, takes a long time to pass all the missions though.

Same here. I don't really know anyone who likes them.

I think at the end of the trailer it might of said 'Birth By Sleep' but it's been a while since I've seen it. The keyblade war sounds sweet though and the graveyard of them laying in that desert. In Final Mix you could fight Terra though, one of the armoured soldiers from the trailer so it seems like he may play a part in KH3.
