when i read that they were changing their sound some and jon said there would only be one fast song on the new cd i was worried, but these sound fucking great. i guess rufio's streak of not disappointing will go untarnished.

Expecting good things with this album...Ru-fi-OH!

And if any of you kiddies are unfamiliar with the source of this band's name, you deserve a kick in the nuts.

haha, i'm for real.

but yeah, it's Rufio. I actually enjoy this, it doesn't sound exactly like the last two albums, which i enjoyed, but they faded fast for me (although not adventurous at all)

edit: it has a Anberlin - Blueprints era underlying vibe to it.

I remember when 1985 came out, and it was on the same day as Deja Entendu, and I really didn't know what album to buy. So, I bought both cd's. Looking back 2 years later...we all now know which one I should have bought.

But this stuff sound 1000x better than 1985.

yeah this stuff sounds very promising, a lot better then 1985. I am a big Perhaps I Suppose fan and hopefully this CD will be as good or even better then that one.

but yeah hard to tell with such short samples...cant wait to hear an actual full length song
