Although I adore all of them, I personally favor the early stuff the most

Where would you draw the line between psychedelic and "later." I feel like right up to the end there's some pretty psychedelic stuff.

The White Album and everything after. Although some of it still have a bit of psychedelics in it, but compared to something like Revolver they had really cut down.

I love everything starting with Rubber Soul . I think that all the albums before that sound the same and pale in comparison to the rest. The Beatles are one of my fav bands but I rarely listen to anything re- Rubber Soul. Once they started experimented they completely changed their sound.

Your the first Beatles fan I have ever heard say that. Could you please explain your reasoning?

I guess I'm just found of late 50's early 60's rock and roll and that's more of what the earlier stuff is.
I really like oldies music. There's no definate reason.
Oh and you can't get into anything pre Rubber Soul? Not even Help?
Help is hands down my favorite record. Ever.

I love Help, A Hard Days Night, Please Please Me and the other early albums. I have to be in a certain mood to listen to the early stuff whereas with the post-Rubber Soul stuff I can listen to anytime. The way I view music it is why listen to decent albums by a band when they have amazing albums. This is how the Beatles are for me. I don't have a favorite album but my favorite song is Tomorrow Never Knows

The early stuff is amazing too, you just happen to like the rest better. But i can understand that. To each his own.

I love all of their stuff. It took me longer to really appreciate the early stuff, and I'm not sure I fully appreciate Let It Be to this day. But they were probably the most consistently good band in the history of music, they really never misfired.
That said, Revolver is easily my favorite album of theirs. The white album would probably come next, but it's really close between that and Magical Mystery Tour. So I guess that puts me in the group that says the psychedelic era?

I love everything Beatles, but it's a tie for me between Sgt. Pepper era and White Album & beyond. I chose Later.
