I've decided to start what i'd like to dub the Ska Discussion Thread. It's basically a place for all the brass and upstroke fans on the board to talk about ska, just so we don't clog up all the other forums. You can check that out right here (http://www.absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?t=68750) if you'd like. Also, just because I always seem to forget Sunday reccomendations, every once in a while i'll post a link to a band that i've been listening to that I suggest the rest of you should start spinning as well. Feel free to do the same.

Be prepared to feel the wrath of the ska haters...I don't see why because this should benifit the Ska haters because he's putting all the ska related topics in one place. Seems like a good idea to me.

For me, Ska begins and ends with the Bosstones. They were the first real band I saw when I was in fifth grade. I was totally amazed. Dicky Barret was my hero throughout middle school. Long live the Mighty Mighty Bosstones.

Good idea, but I don't think ska haters should be complaining. I could easily complain about 70% of the bands posted about here that sound exactly the same.
