Potshot (http://www.ukproject.com/potshot) are calling it quits. They'll play one last final show sometime this year in Tokyo, and they also plan to release their newest full-length album Potshot Beat Goes On on May 7th.

Oh dude, Potshot are that awesome japanese ska band arent they?? They're so rad, this is a shame.

That sucks...they were without a doubt some of the best Japanese pop-punk-ska out there, even though you could only understand about twelve percent of what there were singing, they pulled it off well!!!

they existed before the year 2002 and they dont scream or have lyrics about cutting their wrists, so it make senses that people dont know them

man, Potshot is classic. reminds me of when Asian Man was the dope indie label, wearing hawaiian shirts around the high school halls, and playing Goldeneye til 5am. loved Potshot "pots'n'shots", Pushover "self-titled", Skankin' Pickle "sing along with...", Buck-O-Nine "twenty eight teeth", The Hippos "heads are gonna roll", Spring Heeled Jack USA "songs from suburbia"... those were the days.
