Okay, I have this lit project in which I need to analyse two songs with similar themes. Normally this would be easy for me but you know how when you need to think of something, it never comes to you. So I need you guys to help me out here. The theme can be anything - love (although preferably not, since this is probably going to be overused), problems, revenge, addiction, whatever.
Thanks in advance.

The New Year and Transatlantacism by Death Cab.
Both deal with themes of distance, but in the New Year the distance is doable and in Trans. the distance cannot be overcome.

Limbeck - This Place Is Deserted
Motion City Soundtrack - Indoor Living

Can anyone think of a song that has a similar theme to Thursday's "For The Workforce, Drowning"?

This is a stretch but "No Transitory" by alexisonfire.
"So tired of believing
If this is wrong or right
I think this cause is lost
I wish that I could sleep
I feel like some kind of shadow
Another slave to the week."
