They dont sound like a younger version of TBS to me though, maybe a little but different lryic writting and different musical sounds.

I loveThe Academy Is... ...I saw them with Fall Out Boy and Midtown on the Fueled by Ramen tour earlier this month...they were absolutely amazing!! Everyone should definately check them out.
