What a weird, crazy, confusing week it's been. Here's what I recommend.

1. The songs "Snails" by The Format (http://www.theformat.com). The song is brilliant and I love it.

2. Owen (https://www.polyvinylrecords.com/bands/band_info.asp?bandID=10) - for some reason I've just been listening to everything Mike Kinsella this week, and it just never gets old for me.

3. Jake kind of forced me to listen to the new Nine Inch Nails (http://www.nineinchnails.com) album last week and while I DON'T like this band, there are a few tracks on their new album "With Teeth" that are absolutely amazing. My favorites are "All the Love in the World" and "Only".

4. The new Ben Folds album is great.

5. The Trachtenberg Family Slideshow Players (http://www.slideshowplayers.com/). You'll have to discover these guys by yourself, they defy description.
