What's up ninjas!!! HIYA! Haha, well here's my ish for the week. Dan from Calamity Records (http://www.calamityrecords.net) was nice enough to take time out of his schedule and help me out this week. PEEP IT BIZNATCH!!!

Westcott (http://www.myspace.com/westcott)-I guess I'll be all over their nuts like Frank on TREOS' nuts. This band WILL be big very soon. And remember where you heard it first.

Counting Crows (http://www.countingcrows.com)-all of you kids, mainly the 17 and under era. Step away from the screamo and the emo for just 10 minutes and listen to my favorite band ever. You've probably heard the songs on the radio. If you need one of their albums let me know and I'll hook it up.

Number One Gun (http://www.purevolume.com/numberonegun)-These guys have been some of my favorites for about two years now. Had the privelege of seeing them many times over the last two years. They will blow up this year with their Tooth and Nail release.

February's Leaving (http://www.purevolume.com/februarysleaving)-My girlfriend insisted that I put this band in here. So, if they suck don't blame me. But she's usually got a good ear for stuff.

Nike Dunk's (http://www.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewProfi le&friendID=413598&Mytoken=20050424104154)-This is my favorite shoe ever. While most of you scene kids be rockin your cons, I'll stay TRU to Dunk's for life.

Toasted Ravioli-This stuff is amazing. I just moved up here to Saint Louis and apparently it's a big deal here. SOOOOO GOOOD!!!! Next time you see Mewithoutyou, ask them about it.

Jesus (http://www.bible.com)-Best Recommendation I've ever given. Try Him out, you may like it.

Dan's Recs-

Calamity Records - When Lightning Strikes Compilation - There's nothing like
recommending your own products but I think lots of people on here will dig
this. Featuring tracks from the likes of Over It, Halifax, Anadivine, Sherwood,
Waking Ashland, My American Heart and many more! The artwork is superb! It can
be purchased at Smartpunk, Interpunk and the Calamity Records website
(www.calamityrecords.net). So please help out and pick up a copy, it really is
a bargain!

Get Back Loretta (http://www.purevolume.com/getbackloretta) - Indie/Folk/Pop stuff -
very catchy - Cove from Saosin recommended them to me and I have liekd them
ever since.

Third To None (http://www.purevolume.com/thirdtonone) - Pop-punk - fun and catchy,
pop-punk at it's finest.

The Lifestyle (http://www.purevolume.com/thelifestyle) - emo/rock - really good stuff,
reminds me of Armor For Sleep but not sure why.

Also check out A Hero From a Thousand Paces, Westcott, Return To Arms, Umbrellas
and Big City Dreams.

Fianlly, please go and check out www.calamityrecords.net and if you would like
please sign up to the mailing list while you're there.

FINAL NOTE FROM CALEB-Also add Calamity Records on myspace by clicking here (http://www.myspace.com/calamityrecords)

Jesus-Best Recommendation I've ever given. Try HIm out, you may like it.

I heard about him, never seen him personally though. I heard he lives in the clouds or something. And what's up with people saying he's watching over me that's kinda of creepy. Oh well, from what i've heard he seems like a stand up guy. I'll give him a try when i need him.

Oh and 'August and Everything After' is one of the greatest albums ever. I loved that cd growing up and still do i just put on 'Round here' and a small tear almost creeped out from my left eye. Good rec!!!!!!

Counting Crows...such a good choice. I saw them live and they opened with a 45 minute acoustic set followed by a 2 hour full band performance. Such a great band.
