The first movie, Z-Boys and Dogtown or whatever its called was good, why are they making ANOTHER movie? There have already been several documentaries too, enough already.

The movie looks way to new age. Plus to the guy made this thread, of course they are the reason you started skateing, they are the reason anyone did smart ass.

Dogtown and Z-Boys was an awesome documentary. I think this movie will be lame. They should just leave it alone.

haha... well possibly because the lords of dogtown is being directed by the same woman who directed thirteen (catherine hardwicke)

If Stacy Peralta and Tony Alva tell me its a good movie, I'll give it a chance.

It was decent. Rise Against is in the movie for about 3 seconds.

I might see this, it looks alright, but I still need to see Star Wars.

Rise Against rocks.

The first movie, Z-Boys and Dogtown or whatever its called was good, why are they making ANOTHER movie? There have already been several documentaries too, enough already. this is a movie based around what the documentary covered. i think they're gonna make a true sequel to dogtown and z-boys since it only covered the very roots of skateboarding, but not the 80's and early 90's fishtail skating and up to the current day popsicle-style boards

My dad used to skate a whole lot in the 70s. He can bust out some crazy moves. All the big spins, manuals, and hard turns.

70s was good for a lot of tech shit. Can he do like...old school kickflips...rails...pogos?

I agree. I've also watched about 4 specials on the making of the movie and I think it looks legit. Especially seeing just about everyone on the Zephyr team was involved in making the movie.

I'm seeing it just because Rise Against is in it.
You're dumb.

I'm not sure exactly what he can do anymore. I just know a couple years back when I used to skate, he'd pull out his old school board and show up all the neighborhood kids with his bright yellow skinny ass board with huge 70mm red urethane wheels.

I should take a picture/short video of him on it this weekend and send it to you. I'm not sure how much skill he has left in him though.
