Working class Australian/Scottish rock. Needs recognition so they'll tour the states.

Yes!! I can't believe this has no posts. Such a great band. Kirby and Chris should get their asses in here! ;-)

Are they popular in Oz, or are they more of an underground thing even there? What about Bernard Fanning is he big? Bought his album a few years ago and I still enjoy it.
Yeah, they're well known in the punk community, but that's about it. By no means a household name. Unlike Bernard Fanning (and his band Powderfinger). His solo album was no. 1 nationally like forever ('Wish You Well' and 'Watch Over Me' were the big singles off it). I'm not really a fan of him or his band though.

I bought Fanning on a whim because he was on Lost Highway Records (Willie Nelson, Ryan Adams, Ryan Bingham). I liked it, one of those few prodminately pop album I've liked in awhile. But I hated Powderfinger, basic bland radio rock.
You heard of Fear Like Us? I'm pretty sure I saw them in concert here, but I could be mistaken. Anyways their song Streets of Mexico has been one of my favorites for some time. A perfect blend of folk-acoustic-punk.
Yeah, Powderfinger are boring as hell. I guess i like Fanning's solo stuff better than them, but i wouldn't say i'm a fan. Lost Highway there? Wow. I didn't know that. Makes sense though, his Aussie label and Lost Highway both have ties to Universal Records.
Heard of them, haven't heard them yet though. I'll have a listen for sure! They're on Poison City Records i think. Such a great Aussie label.
