I thought I heard a rumor that said they could have been signed to a major a while ago but they held out for more money. At best that's just a rumor I heard so take it for what it's worth.

captain anarchy strikes again
they got
they got
they got the numbers
(gawt tha numbers)
if by numbers you mean the following ones:
millions of dollars (ya know... to help fight the machine)
2 record executives smoking cigarettes in justin sanes face (he's "allergic")
62 record executives pounding these "anarcho punks" in the ass and getting them to sign to their label.
i like on their websites statement it says "fuck the haters" or something along those lines. i really hope they understand that they just pulled a jawbreaker.

my mohawk frowned when I heard this piece of news....no matter how many eggs I use I may never be the same again
i used to use old pabst blue ribbon to hold up the hawk back when i was punker than thou.
well, heres news for the punx in all of us...
against all authority still rules

I lost the case to the first cd so all I have is the CD......what the hell was it called? was it "destroy what destroys you"?.....anyways that CD is fucking classic....the first track is mohawk inspiring
destroy what destroys you is amazing...
so is all fall down.
AAA!
up the punx!

it most certainly does rawk......it makes you want to re-arrange the pins on your leather jacket, steal your sisters bottle of maximum hold hair spray, and write "casualities" on the mirror
man... even when i was a gutter punk i still hated the casualties. i always preferred discharge.
discharge is the shit.

I'm just messin'.....I never liked the casualities (rips the "on the front line" poster off the cubicle)....
honestly I never really got into that scene...there's some songs I like but for the most part I was into AAA, 88 fingers louie, tricky dick, slapstick, mushuganas, undesirables, nobodys...etc instead... the only street punk/gutter punk/whatever it's called that I enjoyed were bands like the virus, oxymoron, and GBH
you know... i never remembered his name, but i slept with the sister of one of tricky dicks members , and she told me they actually want to do a reunion tour, with the likes of tuesday. its really hush hush, and may never happen, but they want to.
i would die to be at that show.

I remember I saw tuesday at one of their first shows when they played at this church out here in naperville....that was ages ago
they played with this band calld The Tardies.......good times good times
you goddamn naperville punkers have it all. good scene (as much as ive seen), and the best college radio station in the world (89.1 FM).
you suck, us elgin kids had it, but that was waaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyy back in the day. we all know slapstick is dead and not coming back.

yeah, but you are what, like 20 minutes away from the knights hall? man, ive seen a show of two there. it got trashed the other week because some hardcore band from indiana's fans broke celing panels. that band was playing some fest in milwakee like the next week, and another band from arlington heights rushed the stage, hit all of them with bottels, and broke all their shit. like, this crap is ruining the scene. but man, back in the day, the KOC had it all. i saw fall out boy there back when they didnt suck. (waaaaaaaayyyyyyyy back when)
like last year i saw rise against with hewhocorrupts (who im sure youre familiar with) there, and it was fucking insane. i also went to go support my friends band called silent fighting, and they opened for some band called hawthorne heights. there was about 150 people there, tops, and we met HH. man, what a bunch of assholes. and they cant play live, either. lame.
i still would love to live close to the KOC hall. i would walk to see a show if i had to. its quicker than taking route 14.

actually I've only been there once...a couple years ago I saw lanemeyer, sig transit gloria, and god's reflex there.....most of the times I went to shows it was either around here, some dudes house that use to have shows pretty much every weekend with bands like breaker, undesirables, and the mushuganas in some town that I might remember if I didn't smoke so much weed on the way there, and the fireside.....I did get to see 88 fingers louie and in truth at RQ boardshop's 3 year anniversary and a couple bad ass shows at off the alley and record swap though
sig transit is great. i have a lot of friends who used to know those dudes. i miss 88 fingers louie. yet, the falcon are bringing it back to the old school. have you heard em yet?

I've only heard samples.....I'm gonna order it off interpunk cause what I heard was bad ass......
I need to get the history of the bollweevils cd's and that tricky dick anthology too, if I got enough cash I'm gonna pick up the charles bronson anthology as well.......I wish there was still a record store like record swap and bizzy bee around so I wouldn't have to search the internet to buy some of these
go to record breakers in hoffman estates. i think they got some of the old chicago scene stuff. great store. andriano himself used to work there and i saw the riverdales play there once, and kill hannah another time (i blame the girl i was dating that dragged me there)

04/26/05, 03:27 PM
holy shit, that made me rember when I went to some "boycott record breakers" show there a long time ago because they were selling skinhead cd's or something....who the fuck did I see there!!!!
oh yeah........fucking Oblivion........
they sell skrewdriver cds and the likes, but i never cared because theyre independent as fuck, skrewdriver sells discs, and the ideas on those albums arent the ideas of the people that work there.
but i would have been at that show for sure. oblivion ruled
level4loser
04/26/05, 03:44 PM
yeah, I didn't go for the cause.....I went for oblivion too.....
I didn't even know that place was still around.....I might go up there instead of ordering off interpunk
I need to find a place that would sell tapes from some of chicago's past......there was an undesirables tape with the song "fight, fight, kill, kill" on it that I'm never gonna find again.....
the only thing even close to chicagos past is quincy shanks records, who doesnt print the old stuff anymore.
how heartbreaking that such a powerful scene that meant so much to so many is all just washed away into the past
level4loser
04/26/05, 04:00 PM
yeah I know, I still have a lot of stuff like tapes, out of print CD's, flyers, etc... but I wish all the kids stuck with the scene out here and followed what some of these bands did..... something other than make it dissapear.
what out of print stuff do you have?
level4loser
04/26/05, 04:10 PM
I'll have to check when I get home..I'm at work now.....I'm also leaving in about 5 min so I'll have to hit you up later......I'll PM you sometime tomorrow with what I can find.....mostly it's some 7"'s, tapes, local CD's, and shit like that. but anyways, I'll let you know........
later
peace.
