Punk/Emo/Screamo Covers Of Rap Songs?

So i just recently heard framing hanley's version of Lollipop by Lil' Wayne and I can't stop listening to it. But i'd like to make a mix that has 10 or 12 songs like that as well....I was pretty dissapointed with punk goes crunk...there were a few good songs but the rest was trash...but i figure there has to be some others out there that are funny/awesome. So post them up here....and if possible post a link to where i can listen to it

lol...i've been a fan of rap music since I was 5....so whether they are decent musicians or not (which most rappers aren't and i'll be the first to admit its a half assed genre of music)....i still have a soft spot for rap music

Yeah I wasn't saying rap is a bad genre, I'm just saying that most of the rappers being covered aren't good as far as their genre is concerned, and most of the bands covering the songs suck too.

No...actually I listen to pretty much all rap. Although the last few years I have not been listening to any new mainstream rap...I can't stand that soulja boy/mims/whatever other generic bullshit is on the radio crap....the only stuff i've listened to recently that i would consider mainstream is lil wayne, jay-z, nas, and kanye west....however I think kanye west is a complete peice of shit....i love his music. i think he's a great rapper...but everytime that guy opens his mouth to the public he just vomits nonsense.

Yeah I don't know who could even do a decent job covering a gangstarr song but I would love to hear it...none of these bands out today could do it thats for sure.

As far as jay-z goes I thought kingdom come had a few good songs on it...but it could've been better. I'm hyped for the blueprint 3 though (as long as its better than the blueprint 2).

Lil' wayne has done more mixtapes than most rappers have put together which is really sad. But I thought the carter III was pretty damn good.

Nas never really dissapoints me...the only albums that did were nastradamus and streets disciple (SD actually would've been great as a single disc but the double disc thing ruined it for me)
