I was watching Steven's Untitled Rock Show on FUSE the other day, and my fav all time band Green Day (like the very reason I got into punk rock) was on, and guess what band they said they were listening to lately---- the Matches!!!! My Fav. new punk rock band! Holy shit! The Matches have gotta be freakin out, cus that's huge! Did anybody else see that!? Both bands are from Oakland CA. Wonder if they know eachother?

Well seeing as Green Day hit it big in the early 90s and the Matches were in elementary school in the early 90s, I doubt it.

This isn't a shocker. If you kept up with Green Day, you'd know that in a magazine article a few months ago they mentioned they were getting into The Matches. It was even on The Matches website. :smartass:
